Honestly, when I first heard about BATUMI MARINA – Orbi Apartment 4131, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name makes it sound more corporate than cozy. But you know what? This three-star apartment on the 41st floor completely surprised me. I mean, the elevator ride alone gives you time to mentally prepare for some seriously impressive views, and once you’re up there, Batumi just spreads out below you like someone unrolled a postcard.

The location on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is actually pretty brilliant if you know the area. You’re literally steps from the marina – I could hear the gentle clinking of boat rigging from the balcony, which was oddly soothing. What I really appreciated was how close everything felt without being in the thick of the tourist chaos. The Old Town’s cobblestone streets are maybe a ten-minute walk, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals hit up for khachapuri that’ll ruin you for all other cheese bread forever. The building itself is modern in that sleek Georgian way – clean lines, lots of glass, the kind of place that photographs well but actually lives even better.

Here’s the thing about staying this high up though – the wind can be intense, especially in the evenings, so if you’re planning to spend time on the balcony, maybe pack a light jacket even in summer. The apartment itself feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile hotel-room clean, which I honestly prefer. There’s actual space to spread out, a kitchen where you can brew proper coffee (thank god), and the bed situation is comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the first night adjusting to weird hotel mattresses. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during busy season – the building’s garage fills up fast, and street parking around here requires some local knowledge about which spots the traffic police actually care about. But the front desk folks are pretty helpful with that stuff, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood rather than just reading from a script. The whole experience feels less like staying at a hotel and more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment, if that friend happened to have excellent taste and a thing for spectacular harbor views.

  The apartment is amazing, offering a gorgeous view of the sea and excellent facilities. The bed is comfy, and all the necessary things are available. The host is good; she was always in touch.
  
  What could be improved: If you are renting from Orbi Apartments, be prepared to wait in long lines for the elevator, reception, and the entry. It gets super crowded. The apartment's bathroom could benefit from a trash bin. Apart from that everything else was good.

  I was never tend to write reviews. After some of my trips, when decision of choosing a particular place was based on people's reviews, decided to write my own. The place was good and exactly how described in description (all equipment, tools and amenities as described, place was spacious and clean). Bear in mind, that the place is near other scyscrapers, near the beach and main leisure areas, so it is not so quiet there. Also, you will need approx 25 minutes to go to the city center, other part of main leisure and sightseeing areas in Batumi (Ali and Nino statue, many popular restaurants, Argo cable car, etc.). The view from the balcony was spectacular. The place was great and definitely has our recommendations.
  
  What could be improved: We stayed for 5 nights, so towels, bedding could be changed (or provided more of them).
