You know what caught me off guard about Babi Home? I was expecting just another decent guesthouse when I turned onto Parnavaz Mepe Street, but this place actually has some serious charm to it. The building sits in this quieter part of Batumi where you’re not constantly hearing tour groups shuffling past your window, but you’re still close enough to walk to the main action along the boulevard in maybe ten minutes.

The thing is, calling it a four-star property almost undersells what they’ve got going on here – I mean, the attention to detail feels more personal than what you’d get at some of those bigger chain hotels closer to the waterfront. The owner clearly put thought into the common areas, with these comfortable seating nooks that actually make you want to hang out rather than just rush through to your room. And honestly, the WiFi works everywhere, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in Batumi still have dead zones. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully arranged – nothing fancy, but everything works and the beds are genuinely comfortable. I noticed they’ve got blackout curtains that actually block light, which is clutch if you’re trying to sleep in during summer when the sun’s up at like 5 AM.

What I really appreciated was the breakfast setup – not one of those sad continental spreads, but proper Georgian bread and cheese options alongside the usual stuff. The staff knows enough English to help with directions, and they actually gave me useful recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. Location-wise, you’re positioned perfectly to explore both the old town area and the newer beachfront developments without being stuck in either one. Parnavaz Mepe Street itself is pretty walkable, and there’s usually parking available if you’ve got a rental car – though honestly, you won’t need it much since marshrutkas and taxis are everywhere. The only minor thing I’d mention is that some rooms face the courtyard while others face the street, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe ask about that when booking. But even the street-facing rooms weren’t particularly noisy since this isn’t one of the main thoroughfares. Overall, it’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right without trying too hard to impress you with unnecessary extras.

  Невероятно уютная квартира. Ремонт как будто не для сдачи в аренду, а для себя.Есть все для удобства, все красиво, стильно. Есть кухня, стиралка и гладильная доска. Все исправно. Есть чай, кофе и вся посуда. Удобное расположение. Но самое кайфовое – это хозяин! Такой заботы я нигде не встречала. Готов был встретить нас и помочь даже ночью, обо всем подробно информировал, всегда был на связи. Проблем не было никаких, а даже если б были – уверена, он бы помог их решить. Как дома у любимых родственников побывали, честное слово.
  
  What could be improved: Могу лишь отметить, что мы брали два номера. В одном из них кондиционер висел над кроватью и дул в противоположную сторону, что супер. А вот в другом – висел сбоку от кровати и дул прямо на нас. Это не очень удобно, но терпимо) А еще в первом номере вид был на море частично, а во втором – на здание. Хотя второй номер был даже подороже, тк площадь чуть больше. Если вам это все принципиально – уточните у хозяина, какой номер выбрать. Он подскажет👌🏻

  Очень чистые, современные апартаменты, есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Полностью соответствуют фото. Апартаменты располагаются в самом центре города – это огромный плюс, можно до всех достопримечательностей дойти пешком и не далеко до пляжа.
  
  What could be improved: Но при этом рядом с домом проходит очень оживленная дорога с непрекращающимся потоком сигналящих друг другу машин и т.к. мы рано ложимся спать 22-23.00 приходилось засыпать под этот шум. Но ночью он все-таки прекращался)) И возможно для кого-то это не будет проблемой…

  Very cozy, modern and warm apartment, everything is new and clean. In the apartment we found everything for a comfortable stay and felt like at home. The owner is very polite and answered all our requests. Getting into the apartment was very easy.

  The location is perfect, everything that you need is a couple minutes walk, such as shops, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and tidy. The host is amazing, he will help you with everything in the shortest amount of time.

  We had a great time staying at Baba's place! He is a fabulous host, speaking great English, communicating instantly, polite, attentive to your needs and helpful on every occasion. He even kept our backpacks after check-out in storage room and helped us to carry them to the bus stop. Very appreciated!
  
  Appartement is new & spotless, made with great attention to every detail (like the host itself) and includes all kitchen appliances (microwave oven for heating, yes!). It may be smaller but it's very cosy, we were a family of 4 with 2 small children and managed three days without any compromise. We loved the bed's matress too and bathroom with real shower. .
  
  Location is great with several grocery shops around the block, park and beach is in close walking distance,. Nearby the appartement you can even get Batumi transport card for free at the office (55 Vakhtang Gorgasali St) and have a lunch at the family restaurant just one house down from there.

  It was one of the best stay ever. The host was incredibly friendly. He contacted us 2 days before our stay and we discussed the best way to get keys. The apartment is new with modern design. It’s comfortable and have all you need for your stay. If we come next time to Batumi it will be a really great to stay here one more time.

  My plans changed and I booked the apartment a few hours before the end of the day. Even though it was late, they responded in 5 minutes and welcomed and accommodated me at that time.
  The apartment is in the city center, in a very cute neighborhood. It is a quiet place, there are restaurants open until late hours, and a 24-hour market 10 meters away. Even if you arrive late, you will find something to eat. Also, the host had left light snacks, tea, coffee, sugar and water in the apartment.
  As for the apartment, it is very clean and new. It has all the things you need. Even I could live in this apartment for months. Things are placed in the apartment in such a way that there is enough space and the you feel comfortable. Colors, materials, everything is well chosen and comfortable. The bed is orthopedic and linens, the towels are clean and smells good. The manager is responsible, I told him that I had a deep sleep problem and asked him to wake me up in the morning or I would be late for the flight. The second I said it, he knocked on the door, helped me with a taxi to take me to the airport. I thank you for doing your job so responsibly, fairly and honorably. It is a gift to see such an apartment and such responsible people in Batumi. Thank you for everything. I will come back again and recommend you to my all friends.
