Location & Getting Around

I’ll be straight with you — this isn’t a downtown Batumi location, but that’s actually part of its appeal. The drive from the city center takes about 20 minutes, winding through some genuinely beautiful countryside that most tourists never see. What really sold me was the free private parking right on site (no circling blocks looking for a spot), and honestly, having a car here opens up so many possibilities. You’re perfectly positioned to explore the Adjara region’s hidden gems — those mountain villages and waterfalls that don’t make it onto most travel blogs. Recent guests have been rating the location at 9.5, and I get why couples especially love it here. There’s something romantic about being tucked away from the crowds.

The Room Experience

My room had this wonderful blend of traditional wooden elements and modern comfort that you don’t always find in smaller properties. The wood gives everything a warm, cozy feeling — especially nice during those cooler mountain evenings. What impressed me most was the attention to detail in the furnishings and the way natural light fills the space during the day. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-appointed without being overly fancy. You can actually hear the sounds of nature from your window, which is such a refreshing change from typical hotel noise.

The Dining Scene

While there isn’t a formal restaurant on-site, the breakfast setup they have is quite charming — think fresh, local ingredients prepared with care rather than a massive buffet situation. I actually preferred this more intimate approach. For other meals, you’re about a 15-minute drive from some excellent local spots that serve proper Adjarian khachapuri and other regional specialties. The staff here knows all the good places and they’re genuinely helpful with recommendations, not just pointing you toward tourist traps.

  Шикарный вид, в доме есть все необходимое (включая посудомоечную машину) , все было идеально чисто, очень приятный владелец, который нам провел экскурсии по местным достопримечательностям, привез продукты, пожарил шашлык и составил компанию, настоящее грузинское гостеприимство.
  
  What could be improved: Добираться к дому не просто, но владелец нас встретил и показал дорогу (она немного с экстримом, но думаю для дома в горах это норма).

  A wonderful house with a perfect view. The stars look incredible at night! The house also has a fully equipped barbecue area. It gets a bit chilly in October at night, but the house has heaters, so we stayed comfortable. We had an amazing time!

  We were a company of 10 people. The guest house is located in a place with a very beautiful view of the valley. The guesthouse has everything you need to cook for yourself. Just make sure to buy the products in time, as the nearest stores are far away. The people you will meet there are responsive and friendly.
  We had asked to arrange a dinner for us in a local family and it was really impressive. If you want something real , then this is the place for you.

  The vacation at the "Wooden house" was the most dreamy and peaceful place that we ever imagined. The view is so breathtaking that there is no words to describe it. Nino and Zaza were so welcoming and kind, we got the feeling that they're doing all the efforts only for our enjoyment.
  It's the first place that I can promise myself that as much it's depends on me, I'll back for sure!

  We spent a wonderful weekend at the house. We liked everything very much, especially the gorgeous views of the mountains. The house is very spacious. Thanks to Zaza for the hospitality, he is a very friendly and positive host. He helped with the check-in and with the barbecue area. I hope we'll be back!

• Super comfortable stay in an exceptional location – Alexei from Georgia – October 1, 2023 (10/10)

  Our 2-night stay with our group of 5 people was absolutely amazing! I'd easily rate it 10/10. The house is very spacious, with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue facilities outside.
  
  The big living room downstairs had a huge smart TV, and by the way, the place had surprisingly fast WiFi internet. Upstairs, we had 4 comfy rooms, which were more than enough for the 5 of us, but this place would easily accommodate 8-10 people. There are 2 large balconies (maybe it’s even better to call them terraces) with incredible mountain view. Overall, the house design is very cozy and functional at the same time.
  
  Don't forget to explore the hidden gem in the area—a kind of mountain river backwater, plus multiple waterfalls of various sizes.
  
  The host, Zaza, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you guys, it was a really great weekend getaway!

  This is the most beautiful and cozy place I have ever seen in my life. Beautiful nature and views of the mountains. The house is clean and comfortable. Here are all the conditions for a comfortable rest.
  The house is ideal for organizing parties. I celebrated my birthday here with my friends and had a great time. There is a waterfall and river nearby, where you can swim, 15 minutes by car. In the evening, you can organize a barbecue in the yard of the house.
  The hosts are very attentive and warm. We received Georgian wine and sweets as a gift at home.
  My recommendation for this house. This is a place you should visit at least once.
