I mean, when you’re staying on floors 37-38 of the Orbi Beach Tower, you sort of expect it, but actually whooshing up there never gets old – especially when you catch glimpses of Batumi spreading out below through those floor-to-ceiling windows. This four-star place sits right on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, and honestly, the location is pretty brilliant if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos down at the main boulevard.

The rooms themselves have this clean, modern Georgian vibe – nothing too fancy, but everything works like it should. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays up there, even when the city’s buzzing below. The staff actually remembers your name after day two (rare these days), and check-in was refreshingly quick. The view situation is where this place really shines though – you’re basically floating above Batumi’s skyline, and if you snag a room facing the right direction, the Black Sea stretches out like this endless dark mirror, especially at sunset. I spent way too much time just standing at the window with my morning coffee, watching the city wake up.

Here’s the thing about staying this high up in Batumi – you feel like you’re seeing a completely different side of the city. During the day, you can spot all the construction cranes and new developments that are reshaping the coastline, and at night, well, the city lights create this almost magical carpet effect. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you consider how smoothly everything runs here. Parking was actually manageable (which, if you’ve driven in Batumi, you know is no small feat), and the whole Orbi complex has this bustling energy without feeling overwhelming. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can get a bit crowded during peak tourist season – July and August especially – but that’s more about Batumi itself than the hotel. If you’re looking for something that feels both local and international, with views that’ll make your Instagram followers seriously jealous, this spot delivers without breaking the bank or feeling too touristy.

Hotel in Batumi booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally celebrated music festivals and beach events at modern venues.

  We stayed here for a week and had a great experience. The hotel is located on the 37th and 38th floors of a tall, modern building. The view is amazing.
  
  The staff welcomed us warmly and were always kind and helpful. They gave us advice whenever we needed, and after office hours they stayed in touch through WhatsApp and Telegram.
  
  As a surprise for our 10th wedding anniversary, they gave us free tickets to a local show. It was very thoughtful and special.
  
  Room service was quick and friendly. Breakfast is based on local food and served from a fixed menu. It’s not a buffet, which helped us enjoy good food without overeating.
  
  The hotel is beautifully designed with vintage items and interesting art books. It’s also pet-friendly, and the whole place feels warm and welcoming.
  
  Our week in Batumi was truly relaxing and fun, and this hotel felt like a home during our stay.

  Excellent near beach location. Room balcony has a fabulous view to the black see , park and shopping mall.

  Trendy and clean room, and beautiful views. The staff , especially Sergei, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always checking on our comfort. They even sent messages in advance, kept food for us in the fridge for our early departure , and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly thoughtful service!

  Unusual but great hotel with a superb view out to sea and the south of the town. Breakfast is great and runs to 2pm reflecting the party town nature of Batumi

  Whole idea of the place. Decor. The views from the place are stunning! Location is very convenient.

  Staff, staff, staff!!
  Great unique and indie feeling hotel amongst a sea of commercial ones. A one with the nicest and most respectful staff in Batumi imo. The rooms are spacious and each one designed in a joyful and artistic way. They have a piano, videogames, table soccer, hockey table and even a fricking telescope! And their breakfast selection are a glorious start to each day of adventuring.
  Special thanks to the wonderful Me. Sergei in the reception for his immense kindness. We will definitely come again as soon as possible.
