The moment I walked up Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I could already hear the distant hum of Batumi’s seaside energy, but this little pocket felt refreshingly quiet. I mean, when you’re dealing with a three-star apartment-style place, you’re usually bracing yourself for some compromises – but honestly, Katya’s setup surprised me in the best way.

The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in cookie-cutter hotels. The kitchen actually works (I made coffee there every morning), and the living space gives you room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in a hotel room. What I really appreciated was how the owners clearly thought about practical details – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block the morning sun, and reliable Wi-Fi that didn’t cut out every time someone else logged on. The building sits just far enough from Batumi’s main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with street noise until 2 AM, but close enough that you can walk to the Boulevard in about ten minutes when you want that seaside scene.

Here’s the thing though – and this is why I think it has that crazy 9.9 rating – it’s the kind of place that works because someone actually cares about the details. The check-in was smooth (they met me right on time), the apartment was spotless, and when I had a question about getting to the cable car, they didn’t just point me toward Google Maps. They sketched out the actual route locals use and mentioned which marshrutka to catch. I stayed there during shoulder season in late spring, so I can’t speak to how it handles the summer crush when Batumi gets absolutely packed with visitors, but the neighborhood felt like it could stay relatively sane even then. If you’re looking for that sweet spot where you get your own space, local neighborhood vibes, and hosts who know what they’re doing – without paying resort prices – this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  Kiváló, jól felszerelt apartman. Mindenhez közel: tengerpart 2 percre, áruházak, vendéglők, pékség, buszmegállók. A szállásadó nagyon kedves, minden plusz igényünkben segített! Nekünk külön öröm volt, hogy volt "Batumi Card" az apartmanban, aminek köszönhetően busszal bejárhattuk az egész várost a Botanikus kerttől a Batumi Bazaar-ig. Ha legközeleb Batumiba utazunk, újra Katya-t választjuk!
  Excellent, well-equipped apartment. Close to everything: beach 2 minutes away, supermarkets, restaurants, bakery, bus stops. The host is very kind, helped us with all our extra needs! We were especially pleased that there was a "Batumi Card" in the apartment, thanks to which we could travel by bus throughout the city from the Botanical Garden to the Batumi Bazaar. If we travel to Batumi next time, we will choose Katya again!

  The apartment fully matches the photo, it’s clean, has everything you need, the location is great, everything is within walking distance. The owner is polite, the check-in process is as convenient as possible. Cozy, comfortable, quiet place, all amenities. On our next visit we will try to stay here, we liked everything.

  Квартира была чистой, хозяйка всё подробно рассказала. В конце даже разрешила принять душ – мы после выселения оставили вещи, а она начала уборку. После 2х часов прогулки по жаре понял, что взмок и хорошо бы напоследок, забирая вещи, ополоснуться. Ей пришлось перемывать после нас. Так что простите за неудобство, которое мы доставили) А еще в подарок была чача) Это гостеприимство на каком-то неведомом мне доселе уровне. Спасибо Вам!

  Очень чистая квартира, в очень удобном месте. Между старым и новым центром, добираться везде недалеко. Много магазинов в соседних домах, Макдоналдс через дорогу.
  В квартире было все, и даже больше! Даже мощный фен, гладильная доска и утюг были, что бывает не везде) тапочки не одноразовые, очень мило 🙂 если холодно можно включить котел, если жарко – кондиционер.
  Хозяева просто чудесные! Капитан Зураб и его жена Катя) оставили презент в виде домашнего вина и чачи. Спасибо большое за прием! Будем рекомендовать друзьям обязательно 🙂

  Очень добродушные и приветливые хозяева,рассказали куда можно сходить,что посмотреть,где покушать вкусно и недорого.Оставили нам в подарок бутылку прекрасного домашнего вина и домашней чачи.Очень чистая,новая квартира со всеми удобствами,есть все необходимое.Очень удобное месторасположение.В шаговой доступности побережье,магазины и кафе.Минут 20 пешком до основных достопримечательностей.Благодарим за такой прекрасный прием,с удовольствием остановимся у вас снова либо посоветуем своим друзьям!
