I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Apartment Chavchavadze, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard residential building on a busy street. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight, and this three-star spot turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed.

The thing about staying right on Chavchavadze Street is that you’re basically dropped into the heart of everyday Batumi life. I mean, step outside and you’ve got locals heading to work, kids walking to school, and that authentic Georgian rhythm that you just can’t get when you’re stuck in some sterile hotel district. The apartments themselves are honestly more spacious than I expected – mine had this little kitchenette that actually worked (I made coffee every morning, which saved me from hunting down cafes before I was properly awake), and the whole place felt like someone’s actual home rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room. The furniture’s a bit dated, sure, but everything’s clean and functional, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try too hard to impress you.

What really won me over was how easy it made exploring the city. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the seaside Boulevard – I actually preferred this to being right on the waterfront because you avoid all that tourist chaos but can still get there whenever you want. Plus, being on Chavchavadze puts you near some genuinely good local restaurants that most visitors never find. There’s this little khachapuri place about three blocks down that became my regular breakfast spot, and the guy who runs it started recognizing me after the second day. The street itself gets a bit noisy during rush hour (Georgian drivers are… enthusiastic), but it quiets down nicely in the evenings, and honestly, the sounds of the neighborhood became part of the whole experience for me. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no corporate nonsense, just practical people who know their city and can point you toward whatever you’re looking for. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re actually experiencing Batumi rather than just passing through it.

  Very nice stay not far from the center with most attractions.
  Located in an apartment complex above a frequent street. Apartment is well-equipped.

  We liked Theona, the landlady. She was so helpful and kind. We found the apartment very clean and had everything we wanted and needed there.

  Чисто, есть все необходимое, кроме туалетной бумаги и спички для газовой плиты. Просторная квартира, рекомендую для большой компании. Отдельная комната как стиральная и гладильная. Две сушилки, лежаки, стол со стульями на балконе👍🏻 до пляжа минут 15 идти и по пути все известные места, площади. И улица с турецкими , арабскими ресторанами, кафе.
  
  What could be improved: Окна нашего апартамента смотрели на главную улицу и 24/7 было ужасно шумно из-за проезжающих машин и фонтана. Если закрыть двери балкона, норм. Но мы было бы душно, а мы не могли все время включить кондер, так как под ним лежали люди и могли простыть. В самой крайней комнате не ловит вайфай. Вообще в целом слабо работал.

  Очень хорошее месторасположение, в центре города, доступность к достопримечательностям в городе. Большой балкон. В квартире есть все необходимое.

  Хозяева очень доброжелательные, поздний заезд был, заселили без проблем. Не было местных денег, даже оплату не взяли, на утро поменяли, расплатились.

  What could be improved: Досточно холодно и двери на балкон плотно не закрываются из-за сломанных замков. отопление работало в очень экономном режиме, но есть доступ к котлу на балконе. также потребовалось самостоятельно покупать туалетную бумагу. Хороший вариант для большой семьи или двух пар
