It’s tucked away on Lech and Maria Kaczynski Street, which honestly sounds more intimidating than it actually is – the locals just call it “the street near the old stadium,” and once you find it, you’ll realize it’s in this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the coastal chaos that can overwhelm Batumi during peak season.

I mean, this four-star place doesn’t try to be the fanciest hotel in town, but there’s something really genuine about the whole experience. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, and I swear the woman at reception knows exactly which guests want restaurant recommendations versus which ones just want to be left alone. The rooms have this clean, modern feel without being sterile – you get proper blackout curtains (thank god, because Batumi summers mean sunrise at like 5:30 AM), decent air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and bathrooms with actual water pressure. I stayed on the fourth floor and could hear the city humming below, but it wasn’t disruptive, more like a gentle reminder that you’re in the heart of something vibrant.

What really won me over was how effortlessly you can slip into the rhythm of the city from here. Walk ten minutes and you’re at the Boulevard with all the tourists and beach clubs, but turn the other direction and you stumble into these little family-run khachapuri spots that locals actually frequent. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant – which initially seemed like a downside – but honestly, it forces you to explore, and that’s where Batumi really shines. Plus, there’s a decent little market practically around the corner where you can grab fresh churchkhela and those incredible Georgian tomatoes if you want to eat in your room. The 8.1 rating feels about right; it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything works the way it should, the location gives you options, and you’ll sleep well knowing you found a place that feels more like a smart local choice than a tourist trap.

Hotel in Batumi booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally celebrated music festivals and beach events at modern venues.

  Staff is good and welcoming.
  
  What could be improved: – Breakfast room is too small and food is so-so. Too many people. The floor was not cleaned. The organisation needs to be reviewed.
  – my room had a very old-fashioned and non efficient air conditioning. It takes 40 min to refresh the room.
  – Too much outside noises, until 4 am sometimes ! My room was not soundproof well.
  – At some point, my room cards stopped working. I have to ask other tourists to help me take the elevetor (my room was on floor 9). I was lucky to encounter someone each time.

  I really liked the size of the room; it was spacious with a beautiful view of the sea. I also appreciated the small kitchenette and the washing machine. Additionally, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the sea, with a quiet pebble beach that wasn’t crowded. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, where they served amazing and unique cocktails.

  Great location and quiet place, just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The room was nice and had a sea view.

  New hotel with welcoming staff. Cleanliness in rooms and outside. Location is very close to the beach in not crowded area.
  
  What could be improved: Very noisy: during the night cuz of very loud music outside (seems to be live music bar in the building) and during the day cuz of construction of building in from of the hotel. Windows don’t keep the noise from outside at all. The area around the hotel is under the construction. A bit far from the city centre. I stayed 2 days and there was no house keeping even for clean garbage bin.

  Supportive hotel personnel able to communicate in English. There is a Goodwill convenient store (24h, 7 days) close to the hotel.
  
  What could be improved: There was no working wifi and TV in the room. Room had washing machine but there was any clothes dryer. There was no toilet paper and dish soap in the room after check-in. The table on the balcony was broken. It is quite loud in the area of the hotel because new buildings are being under construction.
