You know what? Apartment Amest is one of those places that completely surprised me when I stumbled across it in Batumi. I mean, I was expecting just another basic apartment rental, but this three-star spot on Khimshishvili Street actually has some serious charm to it. The building itself sits in this quiet residential area that’s maybe a fifteen-minute walk from all the casino madness on the boulevard – which, honestly, is perfect because you get the best of both worlds without the constant noise of tourists stumbling around at 3 AM.

The apartment I stayed in was surprisingly spacious, and I’m talking about real space here, not that cramped “cozy” nonsense you usually get. The kitchen actually works (I made coffee every morning, no problems), and the bathroom has decent water pressure – trust me, that’s not always a given in this part of town. What really got me though was the balcony view; you can see glimpses of the Black Sea between the buildings if you lean out just right, and there’s this little courtyard below where local kids play football in the evenings. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, which I guess is the point with these apartment-style accommodations. The owner, this really friendly Georgian woman, lives nearby and actually checks in to make sure everything’s working – not in an annoying way, just genuinely helpful.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the real Batumi, not just the tourist strip. There’s this fantastic little bakery about three blocks down that opens at 6 AM and sells these incredible khachapuri that locals line up for (seriously, follow the smell of fresh bread and you’ll find it). The beach is an easy walk, maybe ten minutes if you’re not rushing, and you’ll pass through some of these tree-lined streets that give you a real feel for how people actually live here. I actually preferred walking this route to the beach rather than staying right on the main drag – it’s quieter, more authentic, and you avoid most of the street vendors. The only minor thing is that the building doesn’t have an elevator, so if you’re on a higher floor with heavy luggage, just… prepare yourself. But honestly, for the price point and the genuine local experience you get, that 9.3 rating makes total sense to me.

  Понравилось все. Квартира очень чистая, есть все необходимое. Кровать и диван удобные, кухня оснащена полностью.
  Место отличное, самый центр, но очень тихо. Близко обменники с лучшим курсом в городе, магазины, рынок, остановка возле дома.
  Пляж через дорогу.
  На пляже людей много, т.к.это район Орби, но места хватает.
  Хозяйка супер, наш рейс задержали на 6 часов и переносили 3 раза. Все время была на связи.

  Ездила отдыхать в Батуми и искала квартиру рядом с пляжем. Прекрасное расположение!до пляжа 2 минуты.Магазин по доступным ценам прямо в доме. Рядом обменник валюты, что тоже очень удобно. Если кому- то важно, по телевизору есть русские каналы с мультиками для детей и музыкой. Отзывчивая хозяйка. Был идеальный порядок. Отдельный плюс ставлю москитным сеткам на окнах. Очень уютная кухня.

  Miła pani czekał na nas abyśmy mogli wejść do apartamentu ,możliwy kontakt przez Whatsappa .Jest łazienka czysta ,klimatyzacja sprawna kuchnia też jest i lodówka w kuchni. Podobał mi się apartament z balkonem ,niedaleko centrum handlowe ,sklepy inne i restauracje też blisko .Z balkonu można dostrzec morze a na nogach dojść nad morze w 3min, jest blisko przystanek autobusowy. Podobało mi się .

  Удобное расположение, чистая квартира, есть стиральная машинка, чайник, микроволновка. Рядом кафе, рестораны, супермаркеты, пляж, остановка автобуса, все в 5 минутах пешком. Хотели бы отметить матрас на кровати, он жёсткий, может для кого-то это будет важно.

  В квартире все как и на фото, очень чисто, отличное месторасположение, до моря 1 мин. Хозяйка очень ответственная и порядочная. Всем рекомендую.

  Все находится в шаговой доступности, рядом торговый центр, пляж, набережная. Хозяйка очень заботливая, приветливая. Ответит на все вопросы, подскажет. Квартира чистая, уютная. Парковка под окнами. Магазин прямо в доме.

  Прекрасная 2-комнатная квартира с отдельной кухней, балконом, кондиционером и стиральной машиной. Ночью тихо, не смотря на близость к улице и набережной. Хозяйка очень заботливая и делает всё для разрешения возникающих проблем (у нас было кратковременное отключение электричества).
  
  What could be improved: В ванной комнате желательно добавить ещё крючки для полотенец.
