The thing is, Batumi has this whole modern tower thing happening along the coast now, and Orbi Beach Tower sits right in the thick of it on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street. I actually love this spot because you’re close enough to walk to the beach in like two minutes, but you’re also surrounded by all these new developments – cafes, little shops, that sort of urban energy that’s taken over this part of the city. The studio itself is pretty compact, but thoughtfully laid out in that way where everything has its place. What really works is how they’ve positioned the windows – you wake up to the sea stretching out forever, and honestly, that view does most of the heavy lifting in terms of ambiance.

Now, I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t some polished international chain experience. The building’s part of this newer wave of development, so everything feels fresh but not overly fussy. Check-in was smooth enough, though you might want to brush up on basic Georgian phrases or have Google Translate ready since English isn’t always the default. The elevator situation can get interesting during peak times (summer evenings especially), but that’s pretty much standard for popular tower buildings here. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being in such a busy area – something about being up that high just buffers you from the street noise. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you factor in that view and the location. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Batumi Beach, close to the dancing fountains, and you can easily stroll to the old town when you want that contrast of traditional Georgian architecture. Plus, there’s something satisfying about coming back after a day of exploring, taking that elevator up to the 21st floor, and just watching the sun set over the Black Sea from your own little perch above it all.

Hotel in Batumi booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally celebrated music festivals and beach events at modern venues.

  Отличное расположение. Море через дорогу, из панорамного окна вид на парк Качинского, море, город. Вечером красочная посветка зданий, в номере есть всё необходимое. Номер большой площади с большой по площади ванной комнатой.

  Nice view from the 21st floor. Good communication with the host. There was no problem with checking in. The lifts are fast, and you don't need to wait long.

  What could be improved: Weird setup where the hotel reception refuses to provide service since that particular floor/rooms have a different owner. Need to contact the owner via whatsapp or georgian phone number. Neither the manager nor her assistant speak English well and communication is quite challenging. We also had to wait over 30min past the official check-in before our rooms were ready.

  The view is a killer – really impressive! The room is beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a longer stay, such as a mini kitchen, wash machine, iron. There were mini shampoos, gels, and washing powder there. The towels and the bed sheets were nice.
  
  What could be improved: It is quite far from the downtown, so you would need to take a taxi.
  Very rude staff, quests should not be treated like that: Upon entering the room for the first time we quickly discovered that the toilet seat top was broken (still a mystery to us how it was not noticed by a cleaning staff). We reported it right away to the landlady (who was super nice on the phone) and were offered to change the room the next day around 11 am. We communicated that for us it didn't matter, we simply did not want to pay in the end for something we didn't do and could stay at the same room, but we kindly agreed. At about 11:45 am the staff aggressively knocked our door and they urged us to IMMEDIATELY LEAVE IN TWO MINUTES, THE ROOM MUST HAVE BEEN EMPTY BY NOW. Pardon? We didn't have the key for our next room, we didn't know in which room we should next go, it was not our fault that the facilities were broken, and we didn't have to wait for the staff to finally show up.
  The landlady was nice remotely at all times, but the way her staff handled her guests must be changed and it downrates the final grade from 9 to 7.

  It's a really nice room with a fantastic view on the Black Sea!
  It's very luxurious, withe a fridge, washing machine and YouTube/Netflix on TV.
  The walk to the old town is a nice walk along the sea, definitely not too far.
  
  What could be improved: During my five day stay I could not take a proper shower because the drainage was clogged.
  That was a bit disappointing, also because a got no reply when I informed the owner.
  If I could take a normal shower, this would definitely be a perfect stay for me!
