VIP CLASS ꙳ ORBI CITY Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name VIP CLASS ꙳ ORBI CITY, I wasn’t sure what to expect. That fancy star symbol in the middle made me think it might be trying a bit too hard, you know? But after spending a few nights there, I actually get it now. This four-star place sits right on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, which honestly sounds intimidating to pronounce but it’s actually perfectly positioned in the heart of Batumi.

What really struck me was how the hotel manages to feel both modern and welcoming at the same time. The lobby has this sleek glass-and-steel thing going on, but the staff – they’re genuinely warm, not that rehearsed hotel smile you get sometimes. I mean, the front desk guy actually remembered my name by the second day and asked how my trip to the botanical garden went. The rooms are spacious, properly spacious, not that “European cozy” thing where you can barely open your suitcase. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too – I’m pretty picky about mattresses and I slept really well. The bathrooms have good water pressure, which you can’t always count on when you’re traveling, and they stock decent toiletries, not the watered-down stuff some places try to get away with.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location is spot-on for exploring Batumi without being right in the chaos of the main tourist strips. You’re close enough to walk to the Boulevard and the beach in about ten minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. The area around the hotel has some excellent local restaurants too – there’s this little place two blocks down that serves the best khachapuri I had during my entire Georgian trip. Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who’s driven in Batumi will tell you is not a given. The hotel has its own spots, and I never had trouble finding one, even when I came back late from dinner. One small thing that bugged me initially was that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, but honestly, that’s pretty minor. The WiFi actually works properly throughout the building, the air conditioning keeps up even during those humid summer afternoons, and the housekeeping staff does their job without being intrusive. I’d definitely stay here again – it strikes that sweet spot between comfort and value that’s getting harder to find these days.

Reviews of VIP CLASS ꙳ ORBI CITY

  • Can’t wait to return here again! – Veronika from North Macedonia – August 20, 2025 (10/10)

We had high floor with amazing view, comfortable bed, clean room, good wi fi, located near the beach and a lot of facilities around. Host was nice and helpful. AC worked good, no noice and no direct blowing on us – perfect. With closed balcony door good sound proof. Fridge, microwave oven and stove worked good, there were a lot of kitchen things. Washing machine also works good and has fast mode. Water heater is also good and we always had enough hot water.

What could be improved: Sometimes we had to wait elevator for too long but this is high season and were a lot of people at the building. In the other month should be no problem.

  • Wonderful – Fatima from Azerbaijan – July 18, 2025 (9/10)

    Location, facilities, sea view

What could be improved: There are a lot of people that’s why elevator is problem

  • Overall, I had a really good experience and would recommend this place to others who appreciate comfort, beautiful views – Matt from Armenia – July 17, 2025 (10/10)

I stayed in a modern high-rise building in Batumi with 52 floors – my room was on the 41st floor and the view was absolutely stunning. The building itself is beautiful and quite impressive.

Many reviews mentioned elevator delays. While it’s true there were queues, they only happened during check-in and check-out hours. Outside of those peak times, I had no issues. If you want to enjoy staying in such a gorgeous hotel, waiting a few minutes during busy times is worth it in my opinion.

The room was extremely clean and had everything I needed. Keep in mind, cleaning during the stay is not provided – you take care of it yourself. Personally, I’m totally fine with that. I always keep my space clean anyway, so it felt like home to me.

As for the host – he was great! I arrived early in Batumi, and the host kindly arranged early check-in for me so I didn’t have to wait for hours. Whenever I had questions, they responded immediately and stayed in touch both before and during my stay. Very helpful and kind.

Thank you so much. 🙌 FYI. I will bring Konyak next time 😉👌

  • Exceptional – Yazan from Palestinian Territory – July 13, 2025 (10/10)

Super clean, great location, everything we needed was in the property and the owner is very kind and responsive.
    Highly recommended

I loved the view from the bedroom as well as from the lobby.

  • Wonderful – Sarfaraz from Qatar – December 12, 2024 (9/10)

    Spacious and comfortable

What could be improved: No drinking water bottles, tea bags/coffee provided in the room

  • Exceptional – Riccardo from Italy – October 7, 2024 (10/10)

When I booked I never expected such a beautiful suit with also a nice view on the city. The price was really low and the inside had everything you need. The location is also good, although there is a lot of traffic in Batumi

  • Overall an excellent location and nice room – Tim from Georgia – September 24, 2024 (8/10)

The location is excellent and the room was nice overall. I enjoyed the view from the terrace. Having a cloths washing machine in the room was great as well. The Internet access was around 35 mbps so it was fast enough for getting some work done too. Overall a pleasant experience.

What could be improved: The shower head was cracked and leaked heavily. There was also a hole in the wall from where some kind of door stop once existed. Both things are easily repairable so not sure why they haven't done it yet.

  • Very Good – Hekmat from Germany – September 15, 2024 (8/10)

Room 1945 was spacious to sit somewhere outside of the actual bedroom n has a kitchen that provides what u need for a short stay

What could be improved: Finding a parking spot was a nightmare
Building has too few elevators for the number of rooms
Internet was kind of too slow to do some work

  • Exceptional – Murabd from Uzbekistan – September 5, 2024 (10/10)

The agency let us to check in early and check out late for no extra cost. Good service
