Wyn Residence Batumi Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Wyn Residence Batumi on Rejeb Nizharadze street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. But you know what? Sometimes the best places surprise you, and this four-star spot really grew on me during my stay.
The thing about staying here is that you’re actually in a proper residential area of Batumi, not right in the tourist madness near the Boulevard. I mean, you can still walk to the main strip in about fifteen minutes, but there’s something refreshing about coming home to a quieter street where you hear more Georgian conversations than tour groups. The building itself feels more like an upscale apartment complex than a traditional hotel – which honestly works in its favor. My room had this lived-in quality that didn’t feel sterile, with decent-sized windows that actually opened (you’d be surprised how rare that is these days). The kitchenette was properly equipped too, not just for show, which saved me a fortune since eating out every meal in Batumi adds up fast.
What really impressed me was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about finding a good khachapuri place that wasn’t touristy, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward the Old Town – he walked me outside and pointed to this tiny bakery two blocks away where locals line up in the mornings. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you get when you stay somewhere that’s part of the actual fabric of the city, rather than isolated in some resort bubble. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout (I was working remotely), and surprisingly, I never had issues with hot water, which can be hit-or-miss in Georgian accommodations. Sure, the breakfast isn’t anything to write home about – pretty standard continental spread – but there’s a 24-hour market literally next door where you can grab fresh fruit and Georgian cheese that’s ten times better anyway.
The location really shines if you’re the type who likes to explore beyond the obvious tourist spots. You’re close enough to walk to Batumi Park when you want that classic seaside experience, but you can also easily duck into the more authentic parts of the city where rent isn’t inflated by tourism. Parking was never an issue either, which is actually a big deal if you’re planning day trips to places like Gonio or up into the mountains. I stayed here in late September when the summer crowds had thinned out, and it felt like I had stumbled onto Batumi’s best-kept secret – comfortable, well-located, and refreshingly unpretentious.

What could be improved: Location is quite far from city centrecomfortable safe stay with taste of luxury – Al-sharif from Israel – November 13, 2024 (8/10)
brand new hotel.. still underconstruction but amazing well equipped rooms .. you have everything you would need in their room like in your house but with the taste of hotels ! most important they have immediate responses for rooms problem .. they are doing a lot of effort to keep their service great
What could be improved: The reception! There was only one guy (I forgot his name) and a girl named Miriam. Both spoke and understood basic English well, and they were always smiling, very helpful, and understanding. These two should be recognized for their excellent service!Great new hotel without mold – Grigory from Serbia – August 22, 2024 (9/10)
A freshly built hotel with clean and well furnished rooms, and what's most important for me, without any moisture or mold smell which is a common problem in Batumi. It has everything you need for long stay, good WiFi, fridge, induction cooker, even washing machine.
I liked the location very much despite it being pretty far away from the city center, it has the least crowded seaside and from some apartments in this building you can actually have a good view on the sea.
What could be improved: The cleaning schedule was a bit strange, they have started strong by cleaning almost every day, but after 1 week they didn't clean for days and before my checkout it has been 2 weeks without cleaning so I decided to do it myself in that period
Anyway, be aware that you might need to clean your room yourself
Also there was some kind of siren turning on sometimes and after that I've been sitting without electricity for some time, from half an hour to several hours.I wish success to Wyn Residences and many tourists✌️✌️ – Darchia from Georgia – August 11, 2024 (8/10)
