What really got me was how they’ve managed to capture that whole cosmopolitan vibe that Batumi’s been developing over the past few years. The lobby has these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in all this natural light, and honestly, the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which you know makes all the difference when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. I mean, the location is pretty smart too – you’re close enough to the action on the boulevard and the seaside area, but Sherif Khimshiashvili Street itself is quieter than some of the main drags, so you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise at night. The rooms are spacious (and I’m someone who usually feels cramped in European hotels), with these really comfortable beds and bathrooms that actually have decent water pressure – you know how that can be hit or miss in this region.

Here’s the thing that stuck with me though – they’ve got this rooftop situation where you can see out toward the Black Sea, and during sunset, well, it’s pretty spectacular. The whole place feels like it gets the balance right between being luxurious and actually livable for a few days. You’ll find the breakfast spread is solid with both Georgian specialties and international options, which I appreciated since I wanted to try local stuff but also craved familiar flavors some mornings. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and the service is attentive, it’s not trying to be overly flashy – it’s more about doing the fundamentals really well. Parking was straightforward, check-in was quick, and honestly, the whole experience felt like staying somewhere that actually understands what travelers want rather than just guessing at it.

  What could be improved: Obsługa zupełnie niepomocna, śniadania to jakiś chory żart za wysoką cenę. Brud od korytarzy, windy po pokój, łazienka, balkon. Hałasy po nocy i brak pomocy od recepcji. Zakaz zwierząt a pies (prawdopodobnie kogoś z obsługi) regularnie srał i sikał na korytarzu a właścicielka nie sprzątała, a sprzątaczki jedynie podnosiły kupe ale nie myły podłogi. Basen oczywiście w budynku obok. Zdjęcie główne to grafika koncepcyjna tak jak to będzie wyglądać może za 10lat. Anulowanie śniadań oczywiście, ale zwrot tylko 25%, a kontakt z szefem? To numer do recepcji do lasek tam siedzących.

  What could be improved: The day we arrived, just before check-in, our booking was unexpectedly updated and the price was increased without any explanation. Upon entering the accommodation, we found that the bed sheets had not been changed. When we contacted the number provided, two ladies came to replace them but insisted the sheets were “100% clean,” which they clearly were not.
  
  The cleanliness of the room and bathroom floor was also below standard. During our 7-night stay, after 3 days we requested fresh towels through the contact number provided, but we never received a reply or any service, even up until our departure.
  
  The room had a noticeable damp, mold-like smell, and there was visible fungus on the bathroom walls.
  
  The waiting time for the lifts was at least 20 minutes, making it faster to use the stairs—even up to the 11th floor (where we stayed). The lifts were consistently overcrowded, often exceeding capacity, leaving us packed tightly inside with no personal space.
  
  The property was overcrowded, particularly on the ground floor, where the number of people made it difficult to move through the area comfortably.
  
  It is also worth noting that the reviews on Booking.com did not reflect our actual experience and differed significantly from the reviews available on Google. We stayed in Orbi City Block A.
  
  Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially in terms of cleanliness and service.
