The rooms are spacious in a way that surprised me – Georgian hotels can be hit or miss with space, but here you actually have room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living in a shoebox. What really sold me though was stepping out onto the balcony in the morning; you get this incredible view where the sea meets the city, and you can watch Batumi wake up over your coffee.

You know what’s practical but nobody talks about? The parking situation is actually decent here, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Batumi’s old town with a rental car, you’ll appreciate. The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings but not in that obnoxious party-all-night way – more like families strolling and locals grabbing dinner at the nearby Georgian places. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and while the weather was perfect, I imagine summer gets pretty busy given how close everything is to the beach and the botanical garden. The hotel restaurant serves this interesting fusion of Georgian and international dishes – honestly, their khachapuri was better than some local spots I tried, though don’t tell the locals I said that. One small thing that bugged me was the elevator can be slow during peak hours, but that’s pretty minor when you consider everything else. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels authentically Georgian but with all the modern comforts, and you don’t want to be right in the middle of the tourist madness, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Orbi Sea View Apartment. The apartment itself is clean, cozy, well-equipped, and has an absolutely amazing sea view that makes mornings and evenings unforgettable. The location is also very convenient — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants.
  
  However, one big downside of the building is the number of elevators. For such a huge complex, there are too few of them, and long queues are almost always unavoidable. Unfortunately, this really spoils the overall impression of the building, even though the apartment itself is wonderful.
  
  In general, the apartment is great, and if the elevator situation improves, it would be a perfect place to stay by the sea.
