The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a great little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning khachapuri, and you’ll find yourself walking past actual Batumi residents going about their daily lives, not just other tourists. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak summer months, but the staff seems to have figured out the local system and they’ll point you toward the best spots. I actually ended up walking most places anyway since you’re close enough to everything that matters – the cable car, the old town, those waterfront restaurants everyone talks about. The building itself sits quietly on the street, and while you might hear some city sounds, it’s nothing like the chaos you get closer to the port area. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re actually staying in Batumi, not just visiting it.
