I stumbled across Queen Tamar during my last trip to Batumi, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another boutique place tucked away on Tamar Mepe Avenue. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones hiding in plain sight. This four-star gem sits in this quiet residential area that’s actually perfect if you want to experience Batumi like locals do – there’s something refreshing about waking up to the sound of neighbors going about their morning routines instead of constant tourist chatter.

The location is one of those “second turn” situations that might seem confusing at first, but I mean, once you figure it out, you realize you’re in this sweet spot that’s close enough to everything but far enough from the madness. The old town is maybe a 15-minute walk, and the beach – well, you can get there without breaking a sweat. What really got me though was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure I knew the good local spots. The woman at reception told me about this little khachapuri place around the corner that wasn’t in any guidebook, and honestly, it ended up being one of my best meals in Georgia. The rooms themselves have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile – you know how some places try so hard to be contemporary that they forget about comfort? Not here. My room had this big window that let in amazing natural light, and the bed was actually firm enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been sleeping on a marshmallow.

I have to say, staying here felt like I was getting an insider’s view of Batumi rather than the typical tourist bubble experience. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings when families are out walking and the little shops start buzzing, but it’s never loud enough to keep you awake. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s space right outside, which anyone who’s driven in Georgian cities will appreciate. The 9.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything just works the way it should. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually functioned properly, and the shower had decent water pressure – sometimes it’s the simple things that make or break a stay. If you’re looking for a place that gives you authentic Batumi vibes without sacrificing comfort, this is definitely worth booking.

  Комфортабельный номер, современный ремонт, сантехника, чистота, прекрасный вид с террасы, оборудованная кухня,ЧИСТОТА! Хорошая,тихая работа кондиционера, холодильника в номере,напор горячей воды,мощный фен,удобный матрас,подушка, постельное белье хлопковое, и белоснежные полотенца,большая лоджия, удобный шкаф, огромное зеркало, множество вешалок, уютный интерьер.Близость к остановке общественного транспорта, море в шаговой доступности, малолюдный пляж. В 5 минутах есть все магазины,кафе,рестораны.Тишина в самом отеле. Гостиница построена так,что номера не нагреваются палящим солнцем. Хозяйка постоянно была на связи, оказывала всякую помощь. Очень обаятельная и красивая девушка. Встретила лично.

  Это был лучший отель в Грузии! Я не люблю возвращаться в одно и то же место, но это тот случай, когда хочется сделать исключение! Чистота, гостеприимство, радушные хозяева!
  Светлый чистый номер, чистота во всем отеле. Наверху отеля веранда с потрясающим видом! Кухня, стиральная машина, все удобства. Парковка во дворе. До центра Батуми 10 минут за 6-10 лари. Тамара и Руслан – очень отзывчивые и добрые люди, помогли со связью, отвечали на все наши вопросы. Пляж в 3х минутах, на берегу кафе у Рауля, лежаки и лодка для рыбной ловли)) Ощущение, что мы были не в отеле, а в гостях у этих замечательных людей. Очень бы хотелось снова вернуться!

  Прекрасные хозяева и прямо ну очень чисто)! Аккуратные номера и удобно организованное пространство. На верхнем этаже общая кухня со всем необходимым и терраса, где приятно попить вина с видом на море, если не хочется куда-то идти.

  Wonderful house, room and hospitality. Very friendly atmosphere and always helped with my questions. The room is clean, tidy, everything works and in its place. Very comfortable and nice mattress. There is a good beach nearby, a little to the center, but at the same time much quieter and cozier. I will definitely stay here on my next trip!

  The location was perfect, if you want to go to batumi just cross the road to take bus. If you want a quite beach just cross the road !
  It was quite throughout, the guesthouse had a common kitchen for all the guests to use equipped with everything, the room was cozy with all the necessary facilities and a balcony. you can also use the terrace to have your meals while you enjoy the view.
  
  Th host was also lovely, she has a beautiful garden and knows english.
  I enjoyed my stay with my friends. Would love to visit again !

  The photos don’t do enough justice to this place. It’s just lovely, the rooms and especially the terrace has a gorgeous view to enjoy breakfast. The beach is just across the street. Tamar the host is the sweetest person. Definitely going back again ❤️
