Walking into Orbi Azure, you immediately get that feeling of stepping into something special — but not in an intimidating way. This four-star property on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street has this modern, sleek vibe that somehow still feels welcoming. The lobby’s got these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with natural light, and honestly, the views of the Black Sea from here are already giving you a preview of what’s to come. You know what struck me most? The staff actually seemed genuinely happy to see guests arrive, not just going through the motions.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about Batumi — location is everything, and Orbi Azure nailed it. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Boulevard, which is where all the action happens along the waterfront. I mean, you can see the Ferris wheel from some of the upper floors, and the Alphabet Tower is right there too. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to grab a taxi or just walk to the old town area when you want that authentic Georgian charm. The beach access is ridiculously convenient — no need to plan your whole day around getting to the water.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and coastal vibes. Floor-to-ceiling windows again (they really committed to this design choice), and the sea views were honestly breathtaking — especially at sunset. The bed was properly comfortable, not just hotel-decent, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. The bathroom felt spacious with a walk-in shower that had excellent water pressure, which you don’t always get in this part of the world. Small detail, but the blackout curtains actually worked, so you can sleep in if you want to.

Amenities & Dining

The rooftop area is where this place really shines — there’s a pool up there with panoramic views that’ll make your Instagram followers properly jealous. The restaurant serves a mix of Georgian and international dishes, and while it’s not groundbreaking, the khachapuri was authentic and the seafood was fresh. What I found convenient was the little market area on the ground floor where you can grab snacks or drinks without having to venture out. The fitness center is compact but has the essentials, and there’s parking available, which is actually a big deal in this part of Batumi.

Why Guests Love It

Look, couples absolutely adore this place, and after staying here, I totally get why. There’s something romantic about watching the sunset from your balcony with the Black Sea stretching out in front of you. The whole setup feels intimate without being isolated — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’ve got this peaceful retreat to come back to. The service strikes that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and the modern amenities mean you’re not sacrificing comfort for location. It’s the kind of place where you can have a proper romantic getaway while still being able to explore everything Batumi has to offer.
