But after staying on the 20th floor of this four-star spot right on Rustaveli Avenue, I get why they went with all those words. The “sea breeze” part? Absolutely real when you’re up that high.

The thing about staying in Batumi is that everyone talks about being close to the beach, but honestly, half the hotels just give you a sliver of sea view if you crane your neck. Not here though – you’re literally towering over everything at 20 floors up, and I mean everything. The boulevard, the beach, those funky modern buildings Batumi’s become famous for – it’s all spread out below you like some kind of Black Sea postcard. I spent way too much time just standing by the windows in the morning with my coffee, watching the city wake up. You know what’s actually nice? The elevator ride up doesn’t feel endless like in some of these tower hotels, and the hallways aren’t those creepy, dimly-lit corridors you sometimes get in high-rises.

The location on Rustaveli is pretty much perfect if you ask me – you’re in the thick of things without being right on top of the tourist chaos down by the waterfront. I could walk to the beach in maybe three minutes, but when I wanted to grab dinner somewhere locals actually eat (not just the resort restaurants), there were plenty of spots within a few blocks. The 9.9 rating this place has? I mean, that seems almost too good to be true, but after a few days there I sort of understood it. The rooms are modern without being sterile, the staff actually seems to care about what they’re doing, and – this might sound weird – but everything just works. The AC, the wifi, the shower pressure, even the key cards. You don’t realize how much you appreciate that stuff until you’ve stayed in places where nothing quite functions right. Parking was straightforward too, which in Batumi can be a real headache if you’re driving. I’d definitely go back, and that’s saying something because I’m usually the type who wants to try somewhere new every time.

  Отличный вариант для проживания и знакомства с Батуми, практически в центре города. Чистая квартира с очень хорошим видом, окнами в пол и современной сантехникой. Много полотенец. Кондиционер в каждой комнате. На кухне присутствует все, что Вам было бы необходимо на короткое время, включая презент в виде бутылочки вина и минеральной воды. До веселой жизни рукой подать в любом направлении. Что до пляжа, что до старых улочек. Хозяйка Мария заслуживает похвалы буквально за все. Все время на связи. Пожелания учитывет, идет навстречу, доброжелательная ;)) Спасибо Вам Мария еще раз! Рекомендую.

  We stayed at Maria’s place for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. She is an excellent and thoughtful host. The home is beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you might need. The location offers easy access to the waterfront and city amenities. We received a warm welcome with wine and soft drinks, which was a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were fresh and high-quality. Communication with Maria was easy and fast — she responded promptly to all our questions. Highly recommended!

  The location is perfect! First time we sleep at so high floor – 20. There is an underground parking lot which makes the stay easier considering the fast pace the city is developing. The apartment has everything you need and is made with taste. The communication with the owner is extremely easy. She even sends videos with instructions. Would recommend!

  Nice apartment in the city center with sea view. Very friendly and helpful owners. The apartment is very cozy and very well equipped, it has everything you might need during your vacation. We felt almost at home. The best apartments we have ever stayed in.

  I’ve been several times in Batumi and this is the best apartment I’ve ever rent for the short stay. The apartment is very cozy and comfortable, equipped with all necessary furniture, dishes, fresh flowers and green natural flowers on the balcony. Generally I felt myself at home being there. Maria is a wonderful host, was very friendly and supportive! Will back for sure and highly recommend to stay in this apartment in Porta Tower.
