I’ll be honest – when I first heard about PANORAMA ORBICITY, the name didn’t exactly scream “luxury getaway” to me. But man, was I wrong about this place. Tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street in Batumi, this five-star hotel completely changed my perspective on what Georgian hospitality could be.

The thing that hits you immediately isn’t just the sleek lobby (though it’s pretty impressive) – it’s actually the view. I mean, the name literally has “panorama” in it, so you’d expect something decent, but the sight lines from the upper floors are genuinely spectacular. You get this sweeping view of the Black Sea that honestly makes you want to just stand there with your coffee for way longer than you probably should. The staff seemed to get a kick out of guests doing exactly that, which tells you something about how consistently jaw-dropping that vista is. What really sold me on the place, though, was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern luxury and local character. The rooms are exactly what you’d want from a top-tier hotel – everything works perfectly, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, and there’s this attention to detail that you notice in small ways throughout your stay. But they haven’t forgotten they’re in Georgia, you know? The breakfast spread includes some fantastic local dishes alongside the international standards, and the concierge team actually knows the city well enough to steer you toward the good khachapuri spots that aren’t tourist traps.

Location-wise, you’re close enough to Batumi’s main action without being right in the thick of the evening crowds – which, trust me, can get pretty lively during summer months. I found the area quiet enough for solid sleep but still walkable to the boulevard and the old town when you want to explore. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free too, which isn’t always a given in busy Georgian cities. The service throughout felt genuinely warm rather than just professionally polite, and honestly, after traveling through this region quite a bit, that distinction really matters. You can tell when hotel staff are going through the motions versus when they actually care about your experience, and this crew clearly falls into the latter category. With a 9.1 rating, PANORAMA ORBICITY has obviously figured out how to consistently deliver on the promises that five-star rating implies, but they do it with a Georgian twist that makes the whole experience feel more authentic than your typical international luxury chain.

  We stayed in the apartment for a week, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms are immaculate and feel very modern. The landlady is outstanding—always polite, incredibly helpful, and available whenever needed. The building (Block D) stands out as better maintained compared to others in the neighborhood. The view is absolutely breathtaking and undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Overall, a perfect 10/10 experience. We’ll definitely return when we’re in Batumi!

Здание (Блок D) выделяется на фоне других в этом районе своим состоянием. Вид просто потрясающий и, без сомнения, стал главным украшением нашего отдыха. В целом, 10 из 10. Обязательно вернемся сюда, когда будем в Батуми!

  Апартаменты Orbi City мы посещаем уже не первый год. В этом году мы прямо на месте забронировали номер и не пожалели! Номер был в отличном состоянии! Вся техника рабочая (холодильник, телевизоры, кондиционеры, стиральная машина, чайник, фен), кухонные принадлежности в нужном количестве. Всё чисто, постельное белье, полотенца на 4 персоны, мыльные принадлежности. Мы остались очень довольны. Рекомендую!!!
