The thing about this resort is that it feels like someone took a mid-range hotel and decided to give it some serious personality. The seafront positioning means you’re getting those sea breezes constantly – and trust me, in Batumi’s humid summers, that’s not just nice, it’s essential. I spent most evenings on my balcony just watching the sunset over the water, and you can see all the way down the coast toward the port area. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making your stay work, which isn’t always a given at this price point. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend asking for a higher floor if you’re sensitive to street noise – Sherif Khimshiashvili can get a bit lively, especially during the tourist season.

What really won me over was how the place captures that particular Batumi energy without trying too hard. You’re close enough to walk to the Alphabet Tower (that weird but wonderful landmark), and the Batumi Boulevard stretches right past your doorstep. The resort itself has this sort of modern-meets-Georgian-hospitality vibe that works well. Sure, it’s not luxury in the international five-star sense, but the combination of location, value, and that genuine Black Sea coastal atmosphere makes it something special. I found myself coming back from day trips around the region and actually looking forward to settling in for the evening – which, let’s be honest, doesn’t always happen when you’re traveling.
