You know what? I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Batumi, but Cozy cubby in Batumi really caught me off guard – in the best possible way. It’s tucked away on Takaishvili Street, which honestly is perfect because you’re close enough to everything but not dealing with the constant parade of tourists that seems to march down Rustaveli Avenue at all hours. When I first walked up to the building, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical (the entrance is pretty understated), but once you’re inside, it actually lives up to that “cozy” name they’ve given it.

The thing about this three-star place is that it feels like someone’s stylish apartment rather than a typical hotel room. I mean, the attention to detail is something you’d expect from a much pricier spot – there are these little touches like locally-made ceramics and what I’m pretty sure are handpicked vintage pieces that make the space feel genuinely warm. The bed was one of those situations where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed whole, and honestly, after walking around Batumi’s cobblestone old town all day, that mattress was a godsend. What really impressed me though was how quiet it stays at night – you’re on a residential street, so you don’t get the late-night revelry from the casino crowd or the early morning delivery trucks that seem to plague some of the beachfront hotels.

The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood rhythm. You’re about a seven-minute walk to the Boulevard (that’s the main seaside promenade for anyone who hasn’t been), but you’re also right around the corner from this little bakery that does these incredible khachapuri – I probably went there four mornings in a row, which says something about both the bread and how comfortable I felt in the area. The shower pressure was surprisingly strong for Georgia (sorry, but it’s true), and they’d stocked the place with these locally-made soaps that smelled like bergamot. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no hovering or upselling, just keys and genuine recommendations about where to eat dinner. I ended up at this family-run place they suggested, and it was exactly the kind of authentic spot I never would have found wandering around on my own. For the price point and that 9.8 rating it’s earned, I can see why people keep coming back to this little gem.

  You can notice that Olena has put a lot of effort into making the apartment cozy and warm for her guests.

  What could be improved: The building is quite old and if you want to put laundry to dry on the terrace, you have to be careful because the air conditioner from the upper floors may leak in your clothes.

  This is a thoughtfully designed and cozy accommodation. There are all the necessary appliances from a large netfltx TV to an electric coffee grinder. Comfortable bed, large shower room, air conditioner, washing machine.

  Lovely clean and cosy apartment, not too far from the centre. Has a very good kitchen set up, there’s even some spices, nice sharp knife (good for cutting watermelon), soap, shampoo, dish soap, and hairdryer all provided. Very good washing machine that has shorter cycles on it if you’re in a rush. We also thought it was a nice touch that the hosts left complimentary mineral water and a bowl full of delicious red apples.

  I recently stayed at this charming apartment and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, our wonderful hosts, Pavel and Vladimir, made us feel incredibly welcome. They greeted us warmly and ensured a smooth check-in process, setting a positive tone for our stay.
  
  The apartment itself was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It had all the essential amenities and thoughtful touches that made our experience even better. A special mention goes to the lovely box for girls, which was a delightful surprise and showed how much attention was given to the little details.
  
  The location of the apartment is perfect. There's a grocery store in the building with delicious dairy products, which was very convenient. Additionally, the view from the apartment was lovely, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days.
  
  Overall, we were very impressed and enjoyed our stay immensely. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and well-located accommodation.

  Awesome and helpful host we couldn’t expect anything better.
  Stylish and cozy apartment.
  Full equipment kitchen we didn’t use but for long staying it’s a plus.
  Great location. The apartment based just 10 min away by walk from the sea. There is a lot of good restaurants and supermarkets near by.

  What could be improved: Seagulls… if u like to sleep with open window like us -forget about it.
  I don’t know if this happens every night but during our staying (both days) hundreds of seagulls started to scream outside like crazy since 5am till 7. But it’s nothing. There is airco which u can use to avoid this situation .
  It would be great if there was a towel/foot mat in the shower.

  The apartment corresponds to the description stated on the website. All as in the photo. The stay was comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: There are some nuances associated with the house in which the apartment is located. The building is quite new, repair work was carried out in neighboring apartments during the working day. This should be taken into account by those for whom silence is important not only in the evening, but also during the day.
