I’ll be honest, when I first pulled up to Orbi City Sea View on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the street name alone had me practicing pronunciation in the taxi. But you know what? This five-star place completely surprised me in the best way possible. The location is actually brilliant once you get your bearings in Batumi, sitting right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the Black Sea but far enough from the main tourist madness that you can actually get some sleep.

The sea views they promise? They deliver, though I’d definitely ask for a higher floor when booking. My room on the seventh floor had this gorgeous panoramic thing going on – you could see the water stretching out forever, and honestly, watching the sunrise from that window became my daily ritual. The rooms themselves feel properly luxurious without being stuffy about it, if that makes sense. Good linens, solid air conditioning (crucial in Batumi summers, trust me), and the kind of bathroom where you actually want to take a long bath after walking around the city all day. I mean, the marble work alone probably costs more than my monthly rent back home.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the area – not just the obvious tourist spots, but actual local recommendations. The concierge pointed me toward this incredible khachapuri place about ten minutes’ walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which beaches to hit versus which ones to avoid during peak season. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in Georgian cities will appreciate. The hotel restaurant is solid – not groundbreaking, but reliable when you just want good food without the hassle of venturing out. Though honestly, you’d be missing out if you didn’t explore Batumi’s food scene at least a few nights. The only minor gripe I had was that the elevators can get pretty crowded during checkout times, and the WiFi occasionally got temperamental on rainy days, but these are small things in the grand scheme. For what you’re paying, especially considering this is a five-star setup with those views, it’s actually reasonable value for Batumi standards.

  What could be improved: C’est établissement est très sale, ce n’était pas un hôtel mais un appartement aucun ménage de fait pendant plus de huit jours, pas de serviette propre, pas de draps très bruyant et impossible de payer par carte de crédit alors que j’en avais fait la demande auparavant. Impossible d’avoir du papier toilette et d’avoir une serviette propre. Cet établissement est juste lamentable. Il devrait être interdit à la location surtout sur Booking.com.

  Obiekt jest nawet w niezłej lokalizacji, do morza wystarczy przejść przez ulicę, sklepiki i restauracje również są na tej samej ulicy

  What could be improved: Apartament to kompleks obiektów Orbi więc przy rezerwacji proście od razu o wskazanie bloku do którego trzeba się udać ponieważ jest ich kilka to uniknie dodatkowego stresu związanego z tym że personel może wam zwyczajnie nie pomóc i kazać dzwonić do obiektu a obiekt nie odbiera telefonu. Jeśli chodzi o czystość to teoretycznie było okej choć w łazience przy uszczelkach wilgoc i pleśń ale to nie jest problem tylko w tym hotelu w Gruzji i jeśli ktoś jest mocnym estetą to pomimo tego że budynek jest względnie nowy to widać już popękane i burchle na ścianach i jakieś inne niedoróbki
