So I stumbled across Orbi City 423 during what was supposed to be a quick weekend in Batumi, and honestly? It completely changed how I think about apartment stays. This isn’t your typical hotel setup – we’re talking about a proper apartment on the fourth floor of what’s basically a residential building on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, tucked into this newer part of the city that most tourists haven’t quite discovered yet.

The thing that got me right away was how quiet it actually is. I mean, you’re still close enough to hear the city humming along, but Block C sits back from the main road just enough that you’re not dealing with that constant Batumi traffic noise – and trust me, that matters when you’re trying to sleep off a long day of wandering around the old town. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (in the best way possible), not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and wrapped in plastic. The kitchen‘s got real dishes, there’s decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the whole place has this lived-in comfort that you just don’t get in regular hotels. What really surprised me was the 9.7 rating – I usually take those numbers with a grain of salt, but after staying here, it actually makes sense.

Location-wise, you’re sort of in this sweet spot where you can walk to the main attractions without being right in the thick of all the tourist chaos. The building’s easy enough to find once you know what you’re looking for (though I’ll admit I walked past it twice on the first day), and there’s actually decent parking nearby, which is honestly a miracle in this part of town. For a three-star place, the value is pretty incredible – you’re getting way more space and comfort than you’d find in most hotels at this price point. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator can be a bit temperamental, but hey, it’s just four floors and the stairs aren’t terrible. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because, well, why mess with a good thing when you find it?
