You know what struck me first about Apartment Magnolia Rustaveli 62? It’s right there on Rustaveli Avenue – and I mean literally ON it, which in Batumi is like staying on the main artery of the city. This three-star place isn’t trying to be fancy, but honestly, it gets the job done in a way that surprised me.

The location is pretty brilliant if you ask me. You’re walking distance from basically everything that matters in Batumi – the boulevard along the sea is maybe ten minutes on foot, and all those quirky cafés and wine bars scattered through the old town are right there. I actually liked that it felt more like staying in a neighborhood than in some tourist bubble. The building itself has that Soviet-era apartment block vibe (which sounds worse than it is), but they’ve clearly put work into making the units comfortable. My room was bigger than expected, with a little kitchenette that came in handy – you know how hotel breakfasts can get repetitive, and there’s a great market just a few blocks down where you can grab fresh khachapuri and Georgian cheese.

What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi worked properly (not always a given in this part of the world), the hot water was reliable, and – this might sound silly but it’s huge – the windows actually opened wide for that Black Sea breeze. Batumi can get pretty humid, especially in summer, so having real airflow makes a difference. The noise level was totally manageable too, even being right on Rustaveli. I mean, it’s not silent, but it’s city sounds, not party noise. Check-in was straightforward with the owner – she spoke decent English and actually gave me some solid recommendations for places that weren’t in my guidebook. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, you won’t need a car much once you’re settled here. The whole city center is walkable, and marshrutkas (those shared minibuses) run constantly if you want to explore further out along the coast. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot of being affordable without feeling like you’re roughing it, and the location just works.

  Sehr gutes und hilfsbereites Personal. Gute Lage, direkt am Strand. Man hat in dem Apartment alles was man benötigt.
  
  What could be improved: Die tatsächliche Adresse stimmt nicht mit der bei Booking angegebenen Adresse überein. Es war schwierig trotz WhatsApp Kontakt die Unterkunft zu finden.

  Отдыхали в конце августа. Апартаменты отличные, чисто, стильно, а главное локация – море в двух шагах. Тамара и ее помощница Мария всегда на связи, по прибытии есть бесплатный трансфер. Нас встретили на ЖД вокзале.

  דירה פשוט מהממת למשפחה , מיקום הכי טוב שיש אין יותר קו ראשון לים מזה .
  נוף מהדירה מהפנט לים ולטיילת בערב רואים את כל הבניינים הגבוהים מסביב באורות צבעוניים וכמובן את המתקנים של לונה פארק בטיילת והמזרקות , המטבח מאובזר בכלי בישול וכלים אחרים .
  הרבה מסעדות מסביב , סופרים קטנים , חוף ים צמוד .
  בהחלט כשנחזור נרצה להתארח רק שם
