You know what surprised me most about My Batumi Apartments? It’s tucked away on Sherif Khimshiashvili street, which honestly sounds intimidating when you’re trying to find it the first time, but once you’re there – man, you realize you’ve hit the jackpot. This four-star place sits in this perfectly quiet residential area that feels like you’re staying where actual locals live, not in some touristy bubble.

I mean, Batumi can get pretty hectic, especially down by the boulevard where all the casino lights are flashing and music’s pumping until late, but up here you actually get to sleep. The apartments themselves are spacious – and I’m talking proper space, not that cramped European hotel room thing where you’re bumping into walls. George (the guy you’ll probably deal with for check-in) was incredibly helpful, actually met me at the building since the entrance isn’t super obvious from the street. The kitchen situation is what really sold me though – it’s fully equipped, which means you can hit up the local markets and cook some of those amazing Georgian vegetables instead of eating out every single meal.

What I loved most was how it bridges that gap between hotel comfort and apartment freedom. You’ve got all the four-star touches – good linens, solid WiFi, proper shower pressure (trust me, this matters after walking around Batumi’s hills all day) – but you’re not stuck with tiny bottles of shampoo and overpriced room service. The building itself is modern without being flashy, and honestly, the 9.8 rating makes total sense once you settle in. The location puts you maybe a 15-minute walk from the main action, but close enough to those little neighborhood spots where locals grab their morning coffee. Actually, there’s this bakery just a few blocks down that I probably wouldn’t have discovered if I’d stayed in the hotel district. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which – if you’ve driven in Georgian cities – you know is basically a miracle.

  The hosts Igor and Svetlana are super hospitable and treat guests like family. They live in the same building and respond immediately to any issue that arises. On arrival, I reported to the building reception who called up to summon them and they arrived within a few minutes with keys and information. There was a problem with the washing machine during our stay so they took laundry to their own flat and did it for us. The room itself is comfortable and well equipped. It has a lovely terrace with views to the mountains and sea. It is only 5 minutes to the beach and on the main street with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Being on the 12th floor it is also removed from street noise.
  
  What could be improved: The building lifts can be very crowded.

  Every thing, the owner was extremely good and helpful, i was afraid at first, because I’ve read many reviews saying that there are mafias in orbi tower and they will steal your money, but apparently the tower is not an hotel, it’s just apartments and every apartment is owned by someone, and the owner of this apartment is very nice

  Mrs. Svetlana is very nice and is ready to help her guests in every way. The value for money is excellent.
  Otherwise, you should be careful when booking accommodation in these skyscrapers because most apartment owners do not take care of rooms and guests like Mrs. Svetlana.

  Amazing sea view!
  Apartment had everything (toiletries; air conditioning; TV; microwave; refrigerator; even the beach towels). Rooms were clean OFC and apartment looked even better than the pictures.
  
  Our host, Svetlana was very nice, punctual and helpful. One of the big reasons to choose her apartment:)
