So I stumbled across NEXT by G-Point during my last trip to Batumi, and honestly, it turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises you don’t see coming. It’s tucked away on Angisskaya Street in this quiet little first side street – you know, the kind of spot where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic. The whole area has this residential vibe that feels refreshingly authentic after dealing with all the touristy chaos closer to the Boulevard.

What struck me first was how this three-star place punches way above its weight class. I mean, the 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re there – the staff genuinely seem to care about what they’re doing, and the rooms are clean in that “someone actually checked the corners” way. The building itself is pretty modern, which is nice because you get reliable hot water and decent Wi-Fi without any of those charming-but-annoying old hotel quirks. The neighborhood is interesting too – you’re close enough to walk to the main action (maybe 15 minutes to get to the beach area), but far enough that you can actually sleep at night without earplugs.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location gives you this insider’s view of how Batumi actually works. There’s a little grocery store practically next door where the owner speaks just enough English to help tourists, and you’re walking distance from some family-run restaurants that don’t have English menus but serve incredible khachapuri. The taxi drivers in this area actually use meters too, which – trust me – is not always a given in tourist spots. Parking was surprisingly easy when I had a rental car, and the front desk folks were helpful with directions without making you feel like you’re bothering them. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the breakfast is pretty basic, but sometimes you just want a solid, honest place to crash that doesn’t cost a fortune and lets you experience the city like a person instead of a walking wallet.

  При бронировании была указана 198 лари, со всеми сборами, хозяйка же потребовала на 40 лари больше , сказав, что это за уборку,
  Не понравилось, что сразу уборка не была включена в стоимость и ты узнаешь об этом в конце, то ли это из-за приложения или же специально хозяева указывают цену без уборки , чтоб побольше бронировали (
  Парковки не было ( хотя была указана) со слов хозяев , ищите сами , где найдёте, там и паркуйтесь (

  What could be improved: Тяжело найти квартиру, думаю, что если бы нам прислали геолокацию было бы проще. Долго искали, где включить свет, нужно было искать автомат (выключатели не работали), посуду пришлось перемывать, т.к. на ней были пятна
