What impressed me most was how thoughtfully arranged everything is. The bedrooms are actually separate spaces (not just one room with a divider), and the kitchen has everything you’d need if you want to grab some fresh khachapuri from the local bakery and enjoy it properly at a real table. The bathrooms are spotless and modern – I know that sounds basic, but after staying in some questionable places around the Black Sea coast, I don’t take good plumbing for granted anymore. The whole place feels like someone actually lives there, not like it was decorated by a hotel chain committee. The neighborhood atmosphere is perfect if you want to feel like you’re experiencing real Batumi life. There’s a little grocery store two blocks down where the owner started recognizing me after day three, and the morning sounds are just right – birds, not traffic or construction. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak summer season, but honestly, that’s true anywhere in this part of town. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. Sometimes that’s worth more than all the marble lobbies and concierge desks in the world, especially when you just want a comfortable base for exploring everything Batumi has to offer.
