I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Mzıurı House on Tamar Mepe Avenue, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building sits quietly on this tree-lined stretch, and you know what caught my attention right away? How incredibly peaceful it felt despite being right in the heart of Batumi. I mean, you’re literally minutes from all the action along the boulevard, but there’s this almost residential calm that just wraps around the place.

The thing about this four-star spot is that it gets the balance right – and honestly, that 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re inside. The rooms have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile, if that makes sense. What really impressed me was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll appreciate this during Batumi’s bright summer evenings), decent water pressure, and air conditioning that actually works when you need it. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, which isn’t always a given in boutique places like this. I remember the woman at reception taking time to mark up a local map for me, pointing out the best khachapuri spot nearby – that kind of personal touch you don’t forget.

Location-wise, you’re positioned perfectly here. Fourth side street off Tamar Mepe means you can walk to the seaside in about eight minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that street noise isn’t really an issue at night. The Batumi Boulevard with all its cafes and that slightly chaotic energy is right there when you want it, but honestly, sometimes you just want to retreat somewhere quieter after a long day of exploring the old town or dealing with the crowds at the beach. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – I’d actually recommend asking them about it when you book because the surrounding streets fill up pretty quickly during summer evenings. What I really loved was how walkable everything felt from here. You’re close enough to the port area to catch those amazing sunset views, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you feel like you’re experiencing a more authentic side of the city. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time in your room, maybe planning the next day over coffee, instead of just using it as somewhere to crash.

  Perfect position right in front of the beach, 1 min walking distance. Clean basic apartment with everything you need. The hosts are very welcoming and they invited us to drink together just like in Georgian tradition! Highly recommended

  We slept very well despite the main road to Batumi just outside. The gas station just next door didn’t disturb. Good value for money with just 2 min to the beach with decent cafe and sunbeds and sup rental. Almost resort-feeling. Clean and comfortable overall.
  
  What could be improved: Would have been good with another rubbish bin and a couple of small bowls for cereal in the kitchenette. And maybe a microwave. Some leftovers not cleaned out of fridge. Road noise and train noise is clear, so beware if sensitive, probably better on 3rd floor. You have to cross the busy road and railway to get to the beach. No elevator so be ready to haul your bags.

  Удобное месторасположение. Пляж и красивый вид на закат – прямо из номера. В пешей доступности магазины. Хорошая кафэ в самом здании и есть классный ресторан напротив. Много пространства, есть балкон, кондиционер, плита и холодильник.
  
  What could be improved: Дом находится на оживленной дороге, я бы сказал трассе, рядом ж/д.
  В целом, это не минус, просто с открытыми окнами возможно будет спать дискомфортно. Хотя мы спокойно спали с открытыми окнами.
  Рядом заправка, с неё иногда может тянуть бензином.

  До моря 3 минуты, красивый вид из окна, кухня, балкон, двор, тенёк! Рядом продуктовый магазин, не далеко рынок. Отлично!

  Наш отдых оставил только самые приятные впечатления! Номера чистые, уютные, с удобными кроватями и хорошей сантехникой. Персонал очень приветливый и отзывчивый, всегда готов помочь. Уютно как дома !расположение отеля очень удобное – все основные достопримечательности в пешей доступности. Море через дорогу,кафе прям на пляже(вкусно как дома ).Обязательно вернемся сюда еще!"

  Výhled na moře v dálce. Moderní a hezký pokoj. Místo na parkování. Liduprázdná pláž pár metrů od ubytování.
  
  What could be improved: Přímo před ubytováním vede velmi rušná silnice a z okna máte výhled na ceny místní benzinky. Hůře vybavená kuchyň.

  Очень теплый приём, сложилось впечатление, что приехали к близким родственникам😊 В номере чисто, комфортно, есть все необходимое. На первом этаже можно заказать хачапури. Удобное расположение, до моря 5 минут ходьбы, хороший, чистый пляж, на пляже работает кафе. В шаговой доступности магазины, общественный транспорт. Нам очень понравилось. Спасибо за такой тёплый приём. С огромным удовольствием будет рекомендовать ваш гостеприимный дом друзьям.
