You know what struck me first about MyRose Grand Hotel, Batumi? It’s that perfect kind of surprised-in-a-good-way feeling when you walk into the lobby. I mean, from Petre Bagrationis street it looks nice enough, but nothing prepares you for how polished everything feels inside – definitely lives up to its four-star reputation without trying too hard to impress.

The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Batumi at all. You’re far enough from the main tourist chaos near the beach to actually get some sleep (trust me on this – those seaside hotels can get wild during summer), but close enough that you can walk to the Boulevard in maybe fifteen minutes. I actually preferred this setup because you get to see more of the real city, plus there’s this fantastic little bakery just two blocks down that locals line up at every morning. The staff seemed genuinely helpful too – not that overly rehearsed hospitality you sometimes get, but more like they actually wanted to make sure you found what you needed.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the rooms are spacious in that way that feels intentional, not accidental. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about this), and honestly, the bathrooms are better than some five-star places I’ve stayed. You can tell they’ve invested in the details that matter. The WiFi actually works throughout the building, which is rarer than you’d think in this part of Georgia. Breakfast was solid – nothing revolutionary, but fresh bread, good coffee, and they had khachapuri that didn’t taste like it came from a tourist manual. The only minor thing I’d mention is that some of the street-facing rooms can get a bit of traffic noise in the early morning, but it’s not terrible. Actually, I kind of liked hearing the city wake up. If you’re planning to visit during the peak summer months, book early – this place fills up with people who’ve clearly done their research, and you can see why.
