The name makes it sound sort of generic, but honestly, this little three-star place on Lermontov Street has way more character than I expected. I mean, when you’re walking through Batumi’s quieter residential streets – away from all the casino glitz near the waterfront – you stumble across this unassuming building that feels more like staying at your Georgian aunt’s house than a typical guesthouse.

The location is actually pretty brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. Lermontov Street sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the distant hum of Batumi Boulevard (maybe a 12-minute walk to the beach), but far enough inland that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos or those ridiculous summer crowds. The owner – I think his name was Giorgi, though my Georgian pronunciation is terrible – genuinely seemed excited to explain which marshrutka routes would get me to the botanical gardens fastest. That’s the kind of local insight you just don’t get at the big chain places, you know? Plus, there’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens crazy early, and the smell of fresh khachapuri drifts through the neighborhood around 6 AM. Not a bad way to wake up, honestly.

What really sold me on the place was how it felt lived-in without being worn down. The rooms are simple but thoughtfully put together – decent Wi-Fi (always a gamble in smaller Georgian cities), surprisingly good water pressure, and these heavy curtains that actually block out the morning light if you want to sleep in. The common areas have this slightly eclectic vibe, like someone’s grandmother decorated them with genuine care rather than following some hospitality design manual. I spent most evenings on their little balcony area, watching neighborhood kids play football in the courtyard across the street while planning the next day’s adventures. The whole experience reminded me why I prefer these smaller places over the sterile hotel experience – there’s something about the authentic interactions and the feeling that you’re actually experiencing a place rather than just passing through it. If you’re the type of traveler who values genuine hospitality and doesn’t mind being a short walk from the main tourist strip, this guesthouse delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense.

  Это идеальное место по всем параметрам. Чисто и уютно. Тихое месторасположение, до моря прогулочным шагом шли минут 25, но это прям прогулочно) до Али и Нино (а соответственно до колеса обозрения и прочих мест развлечения) минут 20 пешком, ну тоже не сказать что торопились. Прекрасная хозяйка которая встретила нас поздно ночью, и подсказала по местности некоторые моменты. Номер чистый, аккуратный, уютный. Цена является дополнительным плюсом) Мы приезжая в 6 раз можем сравнить, и в Батуми теперь только тут будем останавливаться😍

  Отличное расположение. Милая, приветливая, внимательная хозяйка, ответит на все вопросы и просьбы. На первом этаже есть стиральная и сушильная машина, что очень удобно при долгом проживании.
