Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw Mari Apartment was on the 10th floor of a building on Zurab Gorgiladze Street, I was a bit skeptical. You know how apartment hotels can be hit or miss, especially when you’re dealing with what’s technically a three-star place. But honestly? This spot completely changed my mind about staying in residential buildings in Batumi.

The elevator ride up gives you this anticipation, and then you walk into these apartments and – wow. The views are absolutely incredible. I mean, you’re high enough to actually see over the city chaos, and depending on which unit you get (they have both 265 and 268), you can catch glimpses of the Black Sea between the buildings. The morning light streaming through those big windows is something else entirely. What really struck me was how quiet it gets up there – Batumi can be pretty intense with all the traffic and construction, but being on the 10th floor creates this nice buffer from street noise. The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s actual home than a hotel room, which I know sounds obvious given the name, but you’d be surprised how sterile some apartment hotels can feel.

The location is actually pretty smart if you know Batumi at all. Zurab Gorgiladze Street isn’t right in the tourist madness of the Boulevard area, but you can easily walk to the main action when you want it. There’s this local bakery about two blocks down that I stumbled onto – the kind of place where they’re pulling fresh khachapuri out of the oven at 7 AM and locals are grabbing their morning coffee. I found myself going there every day instead of dealing with hotel breakfast situations. The building itself has decent parking if you’re driving (which, let’s be real, can be a nightmare in central Batumi), and the check-in process was surprisingly smooth – none of that awkward “where do I go exactly” confusion you sometimes get with apartment rentals. What impressed me most was how well-maintained everything felt. The hallways are clean, the elevator works properly, and inside the units, you can tell someone actually cares about the details. It’s got that 9.1 rating for good reason – it’s one of those places where the experience just exceeds what you’d expect from the price point and star category.

  Останавливался в этой квартире и остался очень доволен. Просторная, чистая и уютная — всё соответствует фотографиям. Очень понравилось, что есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания: от посуды и бытовой техники до мелочей. Интерьер приятный, видно, что хозяева заботятся о квартире.
  
  Отдельно хочу отметить удобное расположение — рядом магазины, кафе и транспорт. Связь с хозяевами была на высоте: быстро отвечали и шли навстречу по всем вопросам.
  
  В целом, прекрасный вариант как для короткого, так и для более длительного пребывания. Рекомендую!

  I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation in Batumi. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the city center. The apartment met all my expectations as it was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The host was very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Batumi.
