Loft Batumi Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Loft Batumi, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place on Rustaveli Avenue. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in small packages, and this little gem on the second floor really caught me off guard in the best way possible.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you think about it. Rustaveli Avenue puts you right in the thick of things without the chaos of being directly on the boulevard – I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the old town in about ten minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the street noise all night. The building itself has that slightly worn Georgian charm that I’ve come to love about Batumi. Sure, climbing to the second floor might not be everyone’s cup of tea (there’s no elevator), but honestly, after all those khachapuri dinners, you’ll probably appreciate the extra steps. The loft-style setup is what really makes this place special though – high ceilings, industrial touches mixed with cozy furnishings, and these great big windows that actually open properly. You know how rare that is in budget accommodations?

What impressed me most was how thoughtfully everything’s arranged. The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need – proper lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and a kitchenette that’s more than just for show. I actually cooked breakfast there a couple times using ingredients from the market near Piazza (just a five-minute walk, by the way). The bathroom’s compact but functional, with a shower that has decent water pressure – always a gamble in this part of town. And here’s something I really appreciated: the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which isn’t always a given even in pricier places around here. The whole vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, sort of like staying at a friend’s well-designed apartment rather than a formal hotel. During my stay in late spring, the area was buzzing with locals but not overrun with tourists yet, which gave me a real taste of everyday Batumi life. If you’re looking for something with character that won’t break the bank – and you don’t mind being part of a neighborhood rather than isolated in a hotel bubble – this place delivers way more than its modest star rating suggests.

Reviews of Loft Batumi

  • Exceptional – Hussein from Qatar – August 24, 2025 (10/10)

    Dear Niko,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your exceptional hospitality. It was a genuine pleasure to deal with you, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have stayed in your lovely home for almost three days—it was a very special experience.

From the very beginning, the check-in and check-out process was remarkably easy and smooth.

The location of the home was absolutely perfect. It was close to everything we needed: Boulevard, Alphabet tower, sea beach, Batumi eye, Euro square, markets, exchange shops, restaurants, hotels and whatever you are looking and planning to do is near and close to your home.
The home itself was amazing. It was very spacious and big enough for any family, featuring one big bedroom and a wonderful living room (salon). The kitchen and bathroom were very comfortable, and the highlight was undoubtedly the amazing balcony.

Thank you so much once again, Niko. I will not hesitate to deal with you the next time I return to Georgia 🇬🇪—a truly amazing and great country. I will also be sure to highly recommend your wonderful apartment to all my friends and relatives.

    Warmest regards,

    Hussein & his family-Syria 💙Uzbekistan

  • Very Good – Anton from Georgia – July 1, 2025 (8/10)

Great spot, easy communication (checkin/checkout), interesting interior, great overview from balcony, everything work.

What could be improved: Place is a bit dated – minor problems with lights, needs refreshment.

  • Spacious and modern flat very close to the old town and beach. – Simon from United Kingdom – January 5, 2025 (9/10)

Spacious and modern flat very close to the old town and beach. You don't have to walk far to find bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Also the bus from the airport drops you across the road from the apartment.

  • Highly recommended – Brett from Australia – August 22, 2024 (8/10)

The property was clean, well presented and in a really good location.

What could be improved: Given that it is on a main road, there is a little bit of traffic noise at night, but that is to be expected.

  • Wonderful – Anton from Georgia – July 3, 2024 (9/10)

Clean, cozy and calm. Great place for a vacation!

What could be improved: Some lack of equipment, like washing powder or toilet paper

  • Wonderful – Yuliya from Poland – January 2, 2024 (9/10)

The cozy flat places in the awesome district of Batumi. It’s very close to the seaside, to the main square. The view from the windows is amazing!

What could be improved: We had a bit of difficulties with the hot water supply. There was not enough hot water to have showers for 4 people. But it’s ok for 2 people.
