Hotel BLOOM Batumi Overview

When I first walked into Hotel BLOOM Batumi, I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from another four-star place on Giorgi Mazniashvili Street. But this spot actually surprised me in ways that most hotels don’t. The lobby has this really fresh, modern feel without trying too hard to be trendy, and the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right rather than just going through the motions. You know what struck me most? The attention to small details – like how they’ve positioned the rooms to catch the morning light just right, and the way the elevators are actually fast enough that you don’t stand there counting the seconds.

The location is honestly pretty clever if you know Batumi at all. Mazniashvili Street might not sound familiar to first-time visitors, but it’s actually this perfect middle ground – close enough to the boulevard and beach that you can walk there in about eight minutes (I timed it), but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night. I mean, during summer the seaside gets absolutely packed with families and street performers until late, so having that buffer zone makes a real difference. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel too, with little bakeries and corner shops where locals actually go, not just tourist traps. There’s this great khachapuri place two blocks down that the hotel staff told me about – the kind of recommendation you only get when people actually care about your experience.

What really sold me on the place though was how everything just worked without drama. The WiFi was solid throughout the building (tested it in the lobby, room, and even the stairwells because, well, you have to check these things). Check-in took maybe three minutes, the room was ready early, and when I had a question about getting to the cable car, the front desk person drew me an actual map with shortcuts marked on it. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully laid out – not huge, but smartly designed so you’re not bumping into furniture. The bathroom has good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the city. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get why. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling – comfort, location, and people who know what they’re doing.

Reviews of Hotel BLOOM Batumi

  • Good – Zuzana from Slovakia – August 11, 2025 (7/10)

Very basic hotel, spacious room, good location & breakfast

What could be improved: More of a 3 star hotel, problems with hot water, had to wait for 10-15min to get it, asked for a quiet room – got a room facing the main road, not enough towels in the room, staff not very friendly

  • A good stay but … – Sushant from India – June 22, 2025 (8/10)

It was a clean property in an excellent location, all major attractions within a 10 minute walking distance.

What could be improved: Accessories in the bathroom were sorely lacking such as a tooth brush holder, but the most damning part was that hot water was never available, you have to call the front desk every time you wanted to have a hot shower.

  • Wonderful – Bong from Hong Kong – April 28, 2025 (9/10)

    Excellent location and large space.
Staff can be more proactive to help but they are still nice.

What could be improved: Bath water is not hot sometimes.

  • It a good price for the room and location – Ekaterina from Russia – January 2, 2025 (7/10)

Room is big enough. Changing bathroom appliances everyday. Good breakfast with big amount of dishes.

What could be improved: Bathroom wasn't clean. Conditioner is too noisy at night

    What could be improved: –

  • Very Good – Davide from Czech Republic – May 6, 2024 (8/10)

Small hotel in old part of Batumi but quiet.

What could be improved: Breakfast was fair but bread selection disappointing plus no fresh hot eggs. No yoghurt and fresh fruit should not be cut and left for several hours. Keep pears and pomegranate and oranges whole and let the clients cut them!

  • Very pleasant stray in the centre of Batumi – Jelena from Latvia – March 30, 2023 (8/10)

The central location, wellcome staff, good breakfast and coffee, quite area, big room

What could be improved: a bit used furniture, not not too bad

  • It was worth it – Hussam from Saudi Arabia – September 27, 2022 (9/10)
