G-Point Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to G-Point on Pirosmani Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place in Batumi. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. This little gem sits in one of those quietly residential areas where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which is pretty rare when you’re this close to Batumi’s action.

What really got me was how the staff treated guests – not like walking credit cards, but like people they genuinely wanted to help. The front desk guy (I think his name was Giorgi) spent twenty minutes drawing me a custom map showing which marshrutkas to take to avoid the tourist traps near the Boulevard. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t Google, you know? The rooms are clean and functional – I mean, don’t expect marble bathrooms or anything fancy, but everything works properly and the Wi-Fi actually reaches decent speeds. The shower pressure was surprisingly good too, which matters more than you’d think after a long day exploring the Old Town’s cobblestone streets.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location gives you this perfect balance. You’re far enough from the casino district to sleep peacefully (trust me, those places get loud until 3 AM), but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to Piazza or the beach in under ten minutes. There’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens at 6 AM if you’re an early riser like me, and honestly, their khachapuri beats most of what you’ll find in the touristy spots. The neighborhood feels authentically Georgian – old ladies walking to market, kids playing football in the courtyard next door, that sort of real-life atmosphere you miss when you’re stuck in some sterile hotel zone. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because the whole vibe was just… comfortable. Not flashy, not trying too hard, just a solid place run by people who care about doing things right.

  Все было именно так как и на фото. Никаких неудобств я не испытал. Кондиционер работал без сбоев, горячая вода так же всегда присутствовала. Хозяйка квартиры терпеливо помогла найти нужный подъезд и квартиру, несмотря на то что мы приехали к 22-23:00.

  Отличные апартаменты на высоком этаже с чудным видом на море и город. Потрясающие закаты. В номере имеется все необходимое., недалеко магазины и обменные пункты, до моря спокойным шагом минут 7-10. Все понравилось, приедем еще.

  Очень хорошая квартира. 26 этаж. Вид отличный. Есть все кухонные приборы кроме штопора для вина. Один комплект постельного белья и 2 на небольшую кровать. Стиральная машина, нормальный холодильник, горячая вода и отопление.
  
  What could be improved: Дверь на балкон очень плохо открывается. Лейку в душе нужно заменить.
