Dea Apartments Overview
I stumbled across Dea Apartments on Inasaridze Street during my last trip to Batumi, and honestly, it’s one of those places that completely surprised me. You know how sometimes you book something because the price is right and the photos look decent, then you show up expecting… well, not much? This was the opposite of that experience. The building itself sits in this quietly residential part of town – you’re still close enough to hear the city buzz, but far enough that you actually sleep through the night without those classic Batumi party sounds filtering through your windows.
What really struck me about this three-star place was how the owners – and I’m pretty sure they’re hands-on owners, not some management company – have thought through the little things that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere. The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s well-kept home than a typical hotel setup. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchen space if you want to grab ingredients from the local market (there’s a solid one about a ten-minute walk toward the old town), but the beds are comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to spend lazy mornings there. The wifi works reliably, which… let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in this part of the world, even in fancier places.
The location took me a bit to figure out, but once I did, I realized it’s actually pretty clever. You’re positioned where you can easily walk to the boulevard and the beach – maybe fifteen minutes at a comfortable pace – but you’re also close to some of the neighborhoods where actual Batumi residents live and work. I found this great little bakery two streets over that I never would have discovered if I’d stayed in the tourist center, and there’s a small park nearby that’s perfect for morning coffee if you’re the type who likes to ease into the day. The whole area feels more authentic, I guess, without being inconveniently far from what you came to see. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Batumi’s busier areas will appreciate. The staff – well, the woman who checked me in – spoke enough English to handle the basics, and she had this genuine enthusiasm about helping me figure out the neighborhood that you don’t always get at larger hotels. It’s the kind of place that makes perfect sense for the price point, but delivers way more than you’d reasonably expect.
Apartments in Batumi provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Georgian markets and experience daily life in historic seaside neighborhoods.

Dea herself is a wonderful host. She offered to pick us up from the airport and then drove us to the train station. There was even a bottle of local wine as a gift. The apartment is cozy, very personalized and has everything one needs for a few days stay. Balcony is large and has a cute swing. Overall, we felt comfortable and made ourselves at home. The location is awesome too. There are grocery stores, fruit markets, a grand mall and beach within 2-3 min walk.
What could be improved: The apartment is on a smaller side in terms of space and storage.Exceptional – Emre from Turkey – December 23, 2024 (10/10)
Dea is a very nice host. She is very helpful and the apartment is clean.
Thank youAmazing – Yuliya from United States – December 6, 2024 (10/10)
Everything was super clean, the apartment was modern and cozy. The host was super friendly and even walked us around the area to show some shops we were looking for. She also made sure we had parking available and saved a spot for us (street parking isn’t easy to find at some times of the day). The apartment is a short walk from the beach and is a walkable distance from downtown Batumi. This was also the only place in Georgia where we stayed on this trip that had very good/stable internet, so it was easy to work from home there.
What could be improved: The only minus is that parking isn’t easy to find in the area, but that’s to be expected in most major cities. The host saved a spot for us, so it was easy in our case, but could be a problem if you have more than one car or want to come and go and need to find parking during various parts of the day (especially evening).thanks – Elsiddig from Saudi Arabia – June 26, 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: DirtyWonderful – Umpika from Thailand – June 2, 2023 (9/10)
Dea is a good host. She is very friendy and eager to help. She welcomed us with a free bottle of Georgian wine.
Apartment is located in a residential area where it is easy to buy foods, fruits etc. Not far from old town. Taxi to old town cost only 5 GEL.
What could be improved: The elevator to the apt is quite old and very slow. The corridor in front of the elevator is a bit dark. The key to apt is very difficult to use.
