The apartment sits right on Melashvili Street, which might not ring a bell if you’re not familiar with the area, but it’s this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the city humming below without getting overwhelmed by tourist chaos.

The space itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room – there’s this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in chain hotels. The kitchen actually works (I mean really works, not just for show), which saved me a fortune since eating out in Batumi every meal adds up fast. What I loved most was how the morning light floods the place around 8 AM, and if you’re up early enough, you can catch the city waking up while sipping coffee by the windows. The apartment’s on the 38b side, so you get this interesting angle overlooking the neighborhood that feels authentically Georgian rather than sanitized for tourists. I’ll be honest though – the building’s entrance could use some love, and the hallways have that Soviet-era vibe that might catch you off guard, but once you’re inside the actual unit, it’s a completely different story.

What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that travel photos never show you. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (crucial when you’re trying to navigate a new city), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. Plus, being on Melashvili puts you within walking distance of the real Batumi – not just the beachfront tourist strip, but the markets and cafes where locals hang out. The host was genuinely helpful too, not in that over-the-top hospitality way, but more like a friend giving you the inside scoop on where to grab the best khachapuri at 2 PM when everywhere else is closed. I ended up staying two extra nights because, honestly, it just felt right – sometimes you find a place that clicks, and this was one of those times.

  Прекрасные апартаменты с шикарнейшим видом на город! Особенно ночью! Квартира всем оснащена.
  Единственное, учитывайте, апартаменты находятся на 10 этаже. Лифт едет только до 8 этажа. Дальше пешком. Лифт работает за 10 Тетри.

  Расположение скорее всего самое лучшее в Батуми, вид с обеих терасс вообще уникальный. И это полностью все решает.
  
  
  Чистота, все работает, все фото соответствуют, по быту есть все.
  
  Апартаменты на 10 этаже, дом 8и этажный. В Грузии это обычное дело. Лифт до 8го далее по лестнице. Лифт платный – подьем и спуск – монета 10 или 20 Тетри (обе подходят) – надо запасаться, разменять 2-3 лари и забыть.
  Подъезд, двор колодец – внешне заметно пошарпаны – это тоже норма.
  В туалете может быть запах канализации – если дождь запах есть, дождя нет – запаха нет, видимо как то связано с загрузкой труб – смотрите прогноз погоды.
  Горячей воды вдруг может не быть – здесь газовая колонка и возможно из-за напора воды может не включиться – в какое-то утро или вечер горячую воду можно так и не дождаться.
  Машину ставили во дворе – тесновато, но места всегда были.
  
  Цена качество – 200%! Это невероятное место даже без расчета стоимости, все минусы скорее воспринимаются как местные особенности и не портят впечатление.

  Апартаменты находятся на последнем этаже, лифт едет до 8 и далее пешком до 10го (готовьте от 10 тетри чтобы подняться на лифте). Кондиционер один, но хватает и на спальню если не закрывать дверь. Есть два балкона и оба с потрясающим видом на Батуми и порт. Ремонт простой, все достаточно чисто, есть посуда, расположение очень хорошее – в старом городе, очень удобно. Рекомендую!
