They’ve thought about the little things that matter when you’re not just passing through for a weekend – proper kitchen setup, decent Wi-Fi that actually works for video calls (trust me, I tested it extensively), and enough storage space that you’re not living out of a suitcase the whole time. The location on Zgvispiri puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the botanical garden cable car in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also just a short marshrutka ride to the old town and all the tourist stuff.

You know what I really appreciated? The building itself feels authentically Georgian – not one of those sterile new developments that could be anywhere in the world. The neighbors were friendly without being intrusive, and there’s this great little bakery just down the street where locals actually go for their morning khachapuri. The sea breeze comes right up from the waterfront, so even on those humid summer days, you get decent air circulation. I stayed there in late September when Batumi starts to quiet down after the peak season madness, and it was honestly perfect timing – still warm enough for the beach but peaceful enough to actually enjoy the mountain views without crowds everywhere. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator is a bit temperamental (very Georgian, actually), but hey, the stairs aren’t terrible and you’re getting those views as a reward.
