Boulevard Hotel Batumi Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first spotted Boulevard Hotel Batumi on Egnate NinoShvili Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. The building has this sort of understated presence that doesn’t scream luxury, but once you step inside, it’s a completely different story. This four-star place really knows what it’s doing, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Batumi at all. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Boulevard (hence the name, obviously), but tucked just far enough back that you don’t get the constant hum of tourists and street performers that can drive you crazy if you’re trying to sleep. I stayed here during peak summer season – you know, when half of Georgia descends on the coast – and honestly, the rooms stayed surprisingly quiet. The air conditioning actually works too, which isn’t something I take for granted anymore after some questionable hotel experiences in this region.

What really got me was the breakfast situation. They’ve got this spread that goes way beyond the usual Georgian hotel fare – I’m talking proper khachapuri alongside decent coffee and fresh fruit that doesn’t look like it’s been sitting there since last Tuesday. The staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing, which you notice in little things like remembering your room number without checking their notes or actually listening when you ask about restaurant recommendations. Speaking of which, they pointed me toward this incredible adjarian khachapuri place about three blocks away that I never would’ve found on my own – definitely not the touristy spot everyone talks about, but infinitely better.

The rooms themselves are clean and modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Good water pressure in the shower, which is honestly half the battle in this part of the world. The Wi-Fi actually reaches the rooms and works consistently – I was getting work done without wanting to throw my laptop out the window. There’s this nice balance where it feels upscale but not pretentious, you know? The kind of place where you can come back from a day at the beach covered in sand without feeling like you’re offending anyone.

Here’s the thing though – parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving. The street gets pretty packed, especially in the evenings when everyone’s heading out for dinner. But there’s usually something within a block or two, and honestly, you’ll be walking everywhere anyway once you’re settled in. The botanical garden is an easy stroll if you’re into that sort of thing, and you’re close enough to the old town that you can wander over for dinner without needing a taxi.

What really sealed it for me was coming back after a long day exploring the Adjara region – hot, tired, probably a little sunburned – and the lobby just felt like a cool, calm refuge. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a hotel, nothing more complicated than that.

To book a hotel in Batumi during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this vibrant Georgian resort draws visitors eager to experience its subtropical climate and modern seaside architecture.

  • We were very happy. When we come back I'll check this hotel first. – Koray from Turkey – June 29, 2025 (10/10)

Location couldn't have been better. In the middle of everything, 100mt from the beach, right across the park. The rooms and the hotel interior are clean, modern and new. We had opted for a king room with balcony and that was a very luck choice, as the balcony truly adds to the stay experience.

What could be improved: There will be street noise; can't be helped with a location that is so central.

  • Wonderful – Sanjay-rachna from India – June 15, 2025 (9/10)

A very underrated Gem. Super Location. Very Nice clean. Very welcoming staff.

What could be improved: Lack of Elevator and full fledged room service. And most importantly, they need bigger bathrooms.

  • Fantastic – Sundeep from India – June 10, 2025 (9/10)

    Fantastic location
    Great rooms and terraces
    Great staff very helpful

What could be improved: Terraces don’t have much view
Quality of coffee in the room can be better
