Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Batumi Studio 1, I wasn’t expecting much from what sounded like just another budget studio setup. But walking into this place on Zhiuli Shartava Street actually surprised me. It’s tucked into this quieter residential area that’s maybe a 10-minute walk from the main tourist chaos along the Boulevard, which honestly ended up being perfect. You get that neighborhood feel where you’ll see locals heading to the corner bakery in the morning, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters.

The studios themselves are way more thoughtfully designed than I expected from a four-star place. I mean, we’re not talking luxury here, but everything feels purposeful – like someone actually thought about how you’d live in the space for a week, not just crash for a night. The kitchenette setup is surprisingly functional (I actually cooked a few meals instead of eating out every night, which saved me a fortune), and the bed situation is comfortable enough that I wasn’t cursing my booking choice by day three. What really got me was the attention to small details – decent water pressure, blackout curtains that actually work, and outlets where you need them. You know how rare that last one is, right?

The location thing is interesting because Batumi can feel overwhelming when you’re staying right in the thick of the casino and resort area, but from Zhiuli Shartava you get this nice balance. There’s a small grocery store literally two doors down (the owner speaks pretty good English, by the way), and if you walk about five minutes toward the sea, you hit this stretch of local restaurants that most tourists never find. I stumbled onto this Georgian place that does these incredible khachapuri variations – way better than the touristy spots, and probably half the price. The beach access is easy too, though honestly, Batumi’s beaches aren’t going to blow you away if you’re coming from somewhere with pristine coastline. But for evening walks and people-watching, they’re perfect. One heads up though – if you’re here during summer peak season, the area can get pretty lively at night with locals gathering in the small parks nearby. Not rowdy or anything, just… social. I actually enjoyed the energy, but light sleepers might want to pack earplugs just in case.

  Красивый вид из окна, близко к центру города, сравнительно недалеко от моря.
  Бронировали для родственникам, вдвоем в студии жить удобно. Так же во время проживания выявились небольшие проблемы, которые хозяин оперативно решил. Отличное место.

  Хороший ремонт, приятный интерьер. Доброжелательный хозяин Леван. В наличии кондиционер, стиралка, фен, микроволновка, свежее постельное белье. Удобное расположение: пляж, магазины, рестораны, центр города – всё в шаговой доступности . Чистый и приятный санузел. Парковка около здания.
  
  What could be improved: Стены номера не очень чистые, не закрывался один шкафчик, на балконе один стул с рваной сидушкой. На прикроватных столиках были разводы. Балконная дверь не закрывается на замок, есть вероятность посещения номера соседями.

  Professional Management with a very responsive and nice guy. I really appreciate the extra work he puts into it. The apartment has a very cool view on the Batumi Stadium. It's just 5 min walk to Carrefour and another 5 min to the Boulevard.
  
  What could be improved: For me it wasn't a problem as I was able to pay in GEL, but I think for other international travelers it might be inconvenient to follow his payment instructions. With a little tweak on the payment side it is a very good apartment and worth the price.

  Der Blick auf das Stadion und das Meer ist einfach unschlagbar. Das Bett war äußerst bequem und die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Lage des Hotels war äußerst günstig, mit mehreren Supermärkten direkt um die Ecke. Der Weg zum Meer dauerte lediglich 15-20 Minuten. Darüber hinaus war Levan äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.
  
  Das Restaurant tavaduri ist sehr zu empfehlen. War nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und hat die besten Khalakuri.
  
  What could be improved: Leider gab es während unseres fünf Nächte langen Aufenthalts nur eine Rolle Toilettenpapier für zwei Personen. Zudem war es nicht ersichtlich, dass nur Barzahlung akzeptiert wurde. Glücklicherweise konnten wir das Geld später vorbeibringen, sodass es kein Problem darstellte. Die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien könnte etwas verbessert werden.
