There’s a kitchen situation going on, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in Batumi every single meal adds up fast. The building’s got that new construction smell still – not unpleasant, just very… clean and modern.

Here’s the thing about staying in Orbi City though – you’re a bit removed from the old town charm that makes Batumi special, but the trade-off is worth it. The complex has its own little ecosystem with shops and cafes downstairs, and when you want to hit the Boulevard or check out the old town, it’s maybe a 15-minute walk or a quick taxi ride. The elevators can be a bit of an adventure during peak times (there are a lot of residents and guests coming and going), but I found if you avoid the obvious rush hours it’s fine. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being in such a big complex would mean noise, but the soundproofing is actually decent. Plus, there’s something oddly satisfying about watching the city wind down from that height while you’re sipping Georgian wine you picked up from the corner shop.
