So I’ll be honest – when I first spotted BATUMi ORBI SEA TOWERS SEA WIEV on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name’s a bit of a mouthful (and yeah, they spelled “view” creatively), but you know what? Sometimes the places with quirky names turn out to be hidden gems. This three-star spot sits right in the heart of Batumi, and after spending a few nights there, I get why it’s pulling an 8.7 rating from guests.

The location is honestly pretty brilliant – you’re close enough to the action that you can walk to the Boulevard and the beach without breaking a sweat, but far enough from the main tourist strip that you’re not dealing with constant street noise at 2 AM. I mean, Batumi can get pretty lively during summer nights, and trust me, you’ll appreciate being just slightly removed from all that. The sea view rooms actually deliver on their promise too, which isn’t always a given around here. From the upper floors, you get these sweeping views of the Black Sea that are particularly stunning during sunset – I spent way too much time just sitting by the window with my morning coffee.

What really struck me about this place was how it manages to feel both modern and unpretentious at the same time. The building itself is part of those newer developments that have been popping up around Batumi, but the staff runs it more like a family operation than some corporate hotel chain. The front desk folks actually seem to care about helping you figure out the city – they pointed me toward this fantastic khachapuri place about two blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, and they were flexible about letting me store my bags when I arrived early. Small thing, but it matters when you’ve been traveling all day. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, nothing fancy but everything works properly – the AC was a lifesaver during those humid July days, and the Wi-Fi actually reached all corners of my room. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes you just want a comfortable place to crash after exploring the city all day, and this delivers on that front without emptying your wallet.

  The host Giorgi was very welcoming and helpful. Great location, very close to the beach. The view from our room was wonderful. Great value for money to spend few days in Batumi during offseason. Highly recommend and will most likely stay here again during future travels.
  
  What could be improved: No complaints regarding the apartment. However, ORBI CITY is constantly expanding and there is a construction of new buildings very close by. You can hear construction noise from time to time which might be annoying for some people, but it did not bother us.
