mano guest house Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to mano guest house on Giorgi Tsereteli Street, you immediately get the sense that this place gets it right. It’s one of those four-star properties that doesn’t try too hard — just solid, thoughtful hospitality in the heart of Batumi. The building has this understated charm that fits perfectly with the neighborhood’s mix of old Georgian architecture and modern coastal vibes. Honestly, the 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you step inside.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to everything that matters without being stuck in the tourist chaos. Giorgi Tsereteli Street puts you within easy walking distance of Batumi Boulevard and the beach, but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds right outside your window. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot an 8.0, and that tells you something about how well-positioned it is for exploring the city together. The fact that recent guests gave the location an 8.3 rating speaks volumes — these are people who’ve actually stayed here and walked these streets.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you want after a day of wandering around Batumi’s old town or lounging on the beach. Clean lines, comfortable bedding, and those little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The windows let in plenty of natural light, which is something you really appreciate when you’re trying to shake off that travel fatigue. You know what impressed me most? The attention to detail — everything from the lighting to the storage space felt intentional, not like an afterthought.
Practical Perks
Let’s talk about something that actually matters when you’re traveling — parking. mano guest house offers free private parking right on site, which is honestly a game-changer in Batumi. If you’ve ever tried to find a decent parking spot near the city center, you’ll understand why this is such a relief. It’s one of those amenities that might not sound glamorous, but it eliminates a major headache and lets you focus on enjoying your trip instead of circling blocks looking for a space.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something refreshing about a place that knows exactly what it is and delivers on that promise consistently. mano guest house isn’t trying to be the flashiest option in Batumi — it’s focused on being the most reliable one. The combination of that prime location, thoughtful amenities, and genuine hospitality creates this sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting real value. When you’re planning a trip to Georgia’s coastal gem, you want a base that enhances your experience rather than complicating it, and that’s exactly what this guest house provides.

Reviews of mano guest house
Exceptional – Xuenong from Australia – July 31, 2025 (10/10)
Serious face of host, bad WiFi, bad location, but valuable
What could be improved: Private, quiet and cleanExtremely disappointing – Benjamin from United Kingdom – July 28, 2025 (2/10)
The room was okay, nothing special. The air conditioning and downstairs kettle worked. The bus station isn't too far away.
What could be improved: You can get much, much better accommodation in Tbilisi or Kutaisi for a similar or even lower price. 180 Lari for three nights is much too expensive, given that it is in an industrial suburb. The rating is also grossly inflated – it is 6 or 7, at a stretch.
On the second night of my three-night stay, I was downstairs making a coffee, at the kitchenette, which the ‘hostess’ hadn’t bothered to inform me that I could use, presumably hoping that I wouldn’t.
I then see the ‘hostess’, literally five feet away, and give a brief acknowledgement, which is polite in any country or culture that I have ever visited. However, she deliberately ignores me and looks right through me, refusing to even acknowledge me when I raise a hand.I don’t expect smiles, happiness and joy from everyone I meet. I do expect a basic acknowledgement, as a courtesy.
Even better, a Georgian family then walks in and she turns on her fake hospitality for the benefit of the children, plastering a smile across her face and making stupid noises.
I know full well she did this on purpose and tried to create a situation because I saw her reaction when I came in later. She deliberately tried to antagonise me and then lied, presumably also to her husband, that she hadn’t meant to cause offence nor create a situation.
I made clear to the accommodation that I was not willing to accept this when I am a paying guest and asked for a refund of the last night. When I left the following day, I did not receive an apology and her husband tried to pretend it was part of a cultural misunderstanding on my part. No, it wasn’t. I have lived in more than 10 countries, and have actually lived in Georgia for eight months, and so am fully aware of cultural differences. And I have also certainly experienced stupid, disrespectful behaviour like this on too many occasions in Georgia. However, I am also aware that it is not part of Georgian ‘culture’ to be deliberately rude, disrespectful and discourteous, like she was.Perfect place and host – Chris from Denmark – July 15, 2025 (10/10)
