I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Batumi High View on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, but this place completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. The name isn’t just clever marketing either; you’re literally perched above the city with views that stretch all the way to the Black Sea coastline. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create this five-star experience without feeling stuffy or pretentious – you know what I mean? The lobby has this modern Georgian flair that feels authentic rather than trying too hard.

The location is actually brilliant once you understand Batumi a bit. You’re tucked away from the tourist chaos down by the Boulevard, but it’s maybe a ten-minute walk to get into the thick of things when you want to. I loved being able to escape back up the hill when the waterfront got overwhelming – and trust me, it can get pretty intense during summer evenings. The staff here genuinely seems to care about getting the details right. My room had this incredible terrace where I’d sit with morning coffee, watching the city wake up below. The beds are properly comfortable too, which honestly isn’t always a given even at upscale places.

What really sets this place apart though is how they’ve thought about the little things that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere. The soundproofing is excellent – no street noise filtering up from the main tourist strips. There’s proper parking (which anyone who’s driven in Batumi will appreciate), and the breakfast setup overlooks the sea. I mean, you’re starting your day with views of cargo ships heading toward Turkey while eating khachapuri – it’s sort of surreal in the best way. The whole property feels like someone actually stayed in hotels before designing this one. Even the elevators are quick and quiet, which sounds silly until you’re dealing with slow, creaky lifts elsewhere. If you’re looking for something that feels special without being flashy, and you want to experience Batumi from a bit of elevation rather than being right in the middle of everything, this is honestly one of the better choices in the city.

  The building in which the hotel is located is situated near the beach, I had a very beautiful view on the city and sea from room. The room was on a high floor. Unfortunately I stayed only one night. I had private parking for the car. The staff was very kind and helpful. The price for the value was very good.
