My room was one of those spaces that just works — not flashy, but thoughtfully designed with everything you actually need. The bed was properly comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong), and the bathroom had that satisfying feeling of being genuinely clean rather than just looking clean. What I really appreciated were the little touches — decent lighting for reading, enough outlets in the right places, and windows that actually open if you want fresh air instead of just AC all the time. The view wasn’t spectacular, but it was pleasant enough, looking out over the neighborhood’s mix of new developments and older Georgian houses.

Makhinjauri has this interesting character where you’ll find local Georgian families going about their daily lives alongside tourists, which gives the whole area an authentic feel that’s hard to find closer to Batumi’s main tourist strip. There are some solid local restaurant options within walking distance — nothing too fancy, but the kind of places where you can get proper khachapuri and maybe strike up a conversation with locals. The beach access is straightforward too, though I’d recommend exploring a bit rather than just hitting the closest stretch of sand.

  We absolutely loved our stay! The beautiful house with amazing views, new comfortable furniture, and thoughtful amenities made for a wonderful experience. The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality, treating us to delicious homemade food and offering great tour prices. Minor issues like the lack of indoor dining tables didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Highly recommend!

Very-Very comfortable, Perfect clean Villa, Perfect Location, everything you need is very close – Markets, Sea, Beach… and the view, and the view, and the view from the window is just amazing… Nice grill for barbecue lowers. I will recommend everyone to be in Batumi, and actually only in B-Xon Makhinjauri. I will visit here every time I will be in Batumi. In love with this place

  Great great stay, wonderful view and all the facilities are good for family living. The yard was awesome, especially for kids. It's different feeling staying there on the hill from living in the core city area – more like a local citizen owning a villa.
  
  If you are first time vistor to Batumi and planning to arrive at night, I would suggest you call the houselord beforehand so you could easily find its right location on the hill.

  Located far from Batumi in a mountain village near the seaside, this private 2-storey house boasts great views looking out on both the Green Cape area and the Batumi skyline. Stylishly furnished and thoughtfully designed, the house offers everything for a perfect getaway, including warm floors, all kitchen amenities, a large TV, high-speed Internet connection. The linens and towels are high quality and comfortable to use. The hosts were very friendly and offered us local wines and natural sweets. We planned for one night but stayed for 3 nights. Couldn’t wish for a better time! Thank you 🤍
