When I first walked into Apartments on Horizon on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – the building looks pretty standard from the outside, you know? But stepping inside completely changed my perspective. This four-star property has this understated elegance that really grows on you, and after spending several days here, I can see why it’s pulling a 9.3 rating from guests.

The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. You’re tucked away on a quieter residential street, which means you’ll sleep well (trust me, some places in Batumi can get pretty lively at night), but you’re still just a few minutes’ walk from the action. I mean, the botanical garden is practically around the corner, and getting to the beach boulevard takes maybe ten minutes on foot – though honestly, I found myself taking longer because there are these little cafes along the way that are impossible to resist. The apartment setup is what really sets this place apart from typical hotel rooms. There’s actual counter space in the kitchen area where you can spread out your stuff, and I loved having a proper fridge to keep those amazing Georgian wines I kept picking up. The living area feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense – comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel catalog.

What struck me most was how the staff seemed to actually care about making your stay work for you. When I mentioned I was struggling to find good local restaurants that weren’t touristy, the front desk guy (I think his name was Giorgi) wrote down three places on the back of a business card, complete with what to order. Two of them became my go-to spots for the rest of the trip. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive – they have this system where they clean around your schedule rather than barging in at random times, which I really appreciated since I was often working from the apartment in the mornings. You know what also impressed me? The building stays surprisingly quiet even when it’s fully booked, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently throughout the space, not just near the router like some places. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the shower pressure varies a bit depending on the time of day – perfectly fine in the evenings, just a little weaker during morning rush hours. But honestly, that’s pretty typical for this part of the city and hardly a deal-breaker when everything else works so well together.

  Доброжелательные арендодатели, в апартаментах все есть, чувствуешь себя как дома. До пляжа, аквапарка и парка аттракционов 5 минут пешком. Рядом очень много магазинов. С окна открывается великолепный вид на море. Апартаменты советую, не пожалеете!

  What could be improved: Duże problemy z zaparkowaniem samochodu, na głównej ulicy zakaz mimo, że wszyscy stają ale istnieje ryzyko odholowania. Trzeba parkować w bocznych uliczkach.

  Sea view with panoramic window in the bedroom. Very pleasant and friendly owner: since we had a late flight the owner allowed us to stay longer in the room without any extra charge. Provided us with a baby-crib. Room equipped with washing machine, micro, fridge, heating plate and kettle.
  Close to the central district, sea. There are many restaurants around.
  I would recommend this room for two or three people, and also with two with a child, but in this case with some comments
  
  What could be improved: Thin walls – on the first night we heard a party at the neighbors

  Room needs cosmetic repairs(the room equipment works perfectly, and furniture is good, but some places of the walls for example need to be repaired)

  The host is very friendly, quickly responding, nice welcoming gift (fruits and chocolate). The view was magnificent!!
  
  What could be improved: The apartment smells of cigarets, the towels and pillow covers too.
  The bathroom has mold in the shower and near the sink. There were two bowls, three forks and no knifes, and it was supposed to be for 4 people I think.
  The description said one bed in a bedroom and one bed in the living room, but we had a studio flat with two beds next to each other, no bedroom, a bit misleading description.
