The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Batumi at all. Rustaveli Avenue is basically the main artery running through the city, so you’re never more than a quick walk from wherever you need to be. I mean, you can literally stroll down to the Black Sea coast in about ten minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that. What I really loved though was how it sits in this sweet spot where you’re close to all the action but not drowning in tourist chaos. The building itself is one of those Soviet-era structures that’s been given new life, and flat 34 (sixth floor, if you’re wondering) has these surprisingly large windows that let in tons of natural light. The apartment feels more spacious than you’d expect, honestly – I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places that felt way more cramped.

Here’s the thing about staying in an actual apartment versus a traditional hotel room: you get to live like a local for a bit, which is pretty cool. There’s a proper kitchen where I actually made coffee in the mornings instead of relying on hotel instant stuff, and the whole setup just feels more… I don’t know, authentic? The furnishing is simple but comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s clean, which is really all you need. I will say the building can get a bit noisy during the day since Rustaveli is a busy street, but by evening things quiet down nicely. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hotel lobby waiting around. One small heads up though: the elevator is, well, let’s call it “vintage,” so if you’re hauling heavy luggage, maybe pack light or embrace the stairs as cardio. The neighborhood itself has this great mix of local cafes and convenience stores, plus you’re within walking distance of Batumi Boulevard and all those wild architectural experiments the city’s famous for. I actually found myself preferring this setup to the generic hotel experience – there’s something satisfying about having your own little corner of the city, even if it’s just temporary.

  Отличное расположение в 30 метрах от пляжа, 2 этажа, чисто, очень приветливая хозяйка, до центра города идти тоже недалеко, около получаса

  What could be improved: Квартире требуется генеральная уборка. Антисанитария!!! В кухонном шкафу плесень. И самое ужасное – это матрасы. После первой ночи нас покусали клопы, все чесалось, начали смотреть матрасы, а там все в черных фекалиях от этих насекомых, и пятнах крови. Хозяйке сразу сообщили, все показали (так как есть фото), но нам грубо ответили, и сказали, что мы выдумываем! Хотели сразу съехать, но сказали деньги не вернут, пришлось не спать на 2ом этаже (так как там было больше всего их), и спать на 1ом с опаской, так как сказали, что уберут все, но мы пришли и просто все помыто доместосом, и поменяны простыни, которые уже были в крови, и матрасы остались такими же! Так же когда съезжали, через 10 минут позвонила хозяйка и начала орать и обзывать неприличными словами, о том какие мы плохие и «якобы» поцарапали полы, хотя когда мы выезжали, она была в доме и ничего не сказала! Не рекомендую!!!

  The apartment is very spacious and spread over two floors. On the first floor (5th floor of the building), there is a living room, bathroom, and a large kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. The second floor (6th floor) has three bedrooms and another bathroom. Each floor has a balcony with a beautiful sea view. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped.
  Overall, a convenient location, spacious apartment with a great view and all the necessary amenities.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is very close to the sea, but getting to the 5th floor without an elevator can be challenging for some. The stairs connecting the two floors inside the apartment are quite steep and a bit uncomfortable. The apartment is somewhat worn in places – the windows are old (not plastic), so noise from the busy street below can be heard. Occasionally, there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom drain, but it didn't bother us too much.
