I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Alliance Palace In Batumi, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a five-star place on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street. I mean, it’s not exactly the main drag where all the tourists flock, but you know what? That actually turned out to be one of its biggest advantages. The location is perfectly positioned – close enough to Batumi’s buzzing waterfront that you can walk to the Black Sea Boulevard in about eight minutes, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups and street performers that can get pretty overwhelming in the summer months.

What really struck me about this place was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between luxury and actually feeling welcoming. The lobby has this impressive marble thing going on, but it doesn’t feel cold or intimidating – there’s always someone at the front desk who seems genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions. I stayed there twice last year (once in May, once in September), and both times the check-in was surprisingly smooth. The rooms are spacious by Georgian standards, and honestly, the attention to detail is pretty impressive. The bathrooms have these rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure – which, if you’ve traveled around the Black Sea region much, you’ll know isn’t always a given even in upscale places. The beds are properly comfortable too, not just firm mattresses trying to pass for luxury.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the staff actually knows the city. When I asked about getting to the cable car station, the concierge didn’t just point me toward a taxi; he told me about the marshrutka route that locals use and mentioned the best time to go to avoid the crowds. That kind of insight makes a difference. The hotel restaurant serves solid Georgian dishes alongside international options, and while it’s not going to blow your mind, the khachapuri is legit and the wine selection showcases some excellent Adjarian varieties you won’t find everywhere. Parking is handled well too – they have a proper garage situation, which is clutch because street parking around there can be a bit of a nightmare, especially during the busy season when half of Tbilisi seems to descend on Batumi for vacation. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator can be slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s pretty typical for the area and hardly a dealbreaker when everything else runs so smoothly.

  Really perfect hotel to stay at for vacation. located right on Batumi beach. next to a bunch of popular bars , restraunts clubs. 10 minute roughly walk to the beach.
  Owner of property was amazing, super attentive . Always responds with any questions or recommendations. also checking in earlier is a option if needed 💕

  The apartment is wonderful – clean, great location, and well stocked with all the essentials. Communication was very easy and prompt. The bed is comfortable and the apartment itself is quite quiet (especially considering it is in Downtown) so it’s a nice place to relax. I parked my car and didn’t use it all weekend because everything you need (shopping mall restaurants and atc ) is a short walk away. I look forward to staying here many more times in the future🏝️👍
