I’ll be honest – when I first approached Пиросмани 18а, I wasn’t anticipating much from what appeared to be a fairly typical apartment building on a peaceful residential street. But you know what? Sometimes those modest places end up being precisely what you need, and this three-star spot proved to be one of those delightful surprises that makes you feel like you’ve uncovered something the tour groups haven’t discovered yet.

The great thing about staying on Pirosmani Street is that you’re actually in a genuine neighborhood rather than the touristy madness closer to the Boulevard. I mean, you can still walk to Batumi’s main attractions – the beach is perhaps fifteen minutes on foot, and the old town’s easily accessible – but when you return in the evening, it’s truly quiet. Like, quiet enough that you can sleep with the windows open without being woken up by drunk tourists at 3 AM (believe me, that’s worth its weight in gold during summer season). The street itself has this charming tree-lined atmosphere, and there’s a small bakery just around the corner where locals actually go – you’ll smell the khachapuri baking in the morning, which honestly became my unofficial alarm clock.

What really impressed me about this place was how the owners seemed to genuinely care about the details that matter when you’re traveling. The rooms are clean and practical without trying to be fancy, but they’ve considered things like having sufficient outlets near the bed for your phone charger, solid water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound minor but it’s huge – proper blackout curtains that actually block the streetlights. The Wi-Fi functioned reliably throughout my stay, which isn’t something you can take for granted in every corner of Batumi. There’s no restaurant on-site, but honestly, that just gives you more incentive to explore the neighborhood’s family-run places where you’ll get better food anyway. Parking was manageable when I had a rental car for a couple days, though during peak summer months you might need to circle the block once or twice. The staff spoke sufficient English to handle check-in smoothly, and they had some truly helpful suggestions about avoiding the tourist traps – like which marshrutka routes actually get you places efficiently. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere authentic rather than just passing through, if that makes sense.

  На мини кухне есть даже сковорода и кастрюля для приготовления еды
  Есть полотенца и постельное
  С балкона ночью очень красивые виды
  
  What could be improved: В ванной очень не хватает коврика и присутствует стойкий запах влажности/плесени
  В описании написано что предоставляется парковка и она действительно есть перед домом, но имейте ввиду что вы не сможете ей воспользоваться
  Перед въездом во двор шлагбаум, и о том как нам воспользоваться парковкой, Елена которая нас заселяла не знала
  Также в описании написано частный пляж. Мы конечно посмеялись, потому что ничего такого естественно нет. 10мин пешком и пожалуйста вам общественный
