The windows are massive, nearly floor-to-ceiling, so you awaken to this sweeping view of the sea extending toward Turkey on one side and the manicured gardens of Heroes’ Alley on the other. Honestly, I spent far more time than I anticipated just relaxing with my morning coffee observing the runners and dog walkers below. The kitchen arrangement is compact but practical – I managed to prepare decent breakfast most mornings, though you’ll want to visit the Carrefour about six blocks down Rustaveli Avenue for supplies since the small corner shops nearby are quite limited. The bathroom’s nothing elaborate, but the water pressure is reliable and it actually maintains heat, which can be unpredictable in this area of town. One aspect that caught me off guard was how peaceful it remains at night despite being so central – the structure’s got decent sound insulation, and honestly the ocean breeze tends to drift most street sounds away from the windows anyway. Check-in was smooth, though my host spoke more Russian than English, so polish up on essential phrases or have Google Translate available.
