Actually, the shower pressure was better than my last apartment back home, which is saying something.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so close to the action. During the day, you can hear the usual city sounds – cars, people walking to the beach, the occasional street vendor – but once evening rolls around, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The location is pretty smart too, because you’re close enough to walk to Boulevard Batumi in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main tourist strip that you’re not dealing with crowds of people stumbling back from the casinos at 2 AM. There’s a little grocery store practically next door, and I noticed locals shopping there instead of tourists, which usually means better prices and fresher stuff. The building doesn’t have fancy amenities or anything like that, but honestly, when you’re this close to the beach and the old town, who needs a hotel pool? I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places where you feel like you’re actually living in the city for a bit, not just passing through.
