You know what really surprised me about Sunny Resort Orbi City? It’s one of those places that completely defies your expectations based on the name alone. I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Sunny Resort,” I was picturing some generic beachfront complex, but this three-star gem sits right in the heart of Batumi on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, and it’s actually got more character than half the flashier places I’ve stayed at.

The location is what really makes this place work. You’re maybe a five-minute walk from Batumi Boulevard – you know, that gorgeous waterfront promenade everyone raves about – but you’re tucked away enough that you don’t get the constant noise of tourists and street vendors that can drive you crazy if you’re trying to actually relax. The building itself has this sort of modern Georgian vibe (if that makes sense), and the rooms are way more spacious than you’d expect for the price point. I mean, I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places where you can barely fit your suitcase, but here you actually have room to spread out. The staff genuinely seems to care too – not in that over-the-top way that feels fake, but like they actually want you to enjoy Batumi. When I was trying to figure out how to get to the cable car without dealing with the touristy crowds, the front desk guy drew me a little map showing the back streets that locals use.

What really won me over, though, was how the place feels during different parts of the day. Mornings are incredibly peaceful – you can sit on the balcony (if you get one of those rooms) with your coffee and actually hear birds instead of traffic. But then you’re close enough to everything that when you want to dive into the Batumi chaos – the casinos, the restaurants, that wild seaside energy – you’re right there in minutes. The 9.3 rating makes total sense to me because this isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s not pretending to be a luxury resort, but it nails all the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. Clean, comfortable, friendly, and positioned perfectly for exploring the city without being stuck in the middle of the mayhem 24/7. Honestly, I’d stay here again, which is saying something because I usually like to try new places every time I visit somewhere.

  Хочу выразить благодарность хозяйке Екатерине за её гостеприимность! Комната очень чистая, отличное расположение, есть все удобства. Екатерина организовала мне трансфер из аэропорта и обратно, устроила мини-экскурсию и показала, где что можно приобрести. Очень жаль, что была здесь всего 1 день, но в следующий раз обязательно остановлюсь здесь еще раз на подольше. 100% рекомендую!

  Прекрасные , современные апартаменты. С шикарным видом из окна. Рядом море, магазины, все , что необходимо для отдыха. Современный ремонт, удобная кровать , хорошее белье. На кухне достаточно посуды, есть все необходимое. Хозяйка Инга встретила, поселила, все рассказала и показала. Первый раз встречаемся с таким радушием и вниманием к гостям. Очень хотелось бы остаться подольше, но к сожалению были проездом. На обратном пути решили остановится тут же на неделю. Супер и спасибо большое гостеприимной Грузии в лице ее хозяйки!

  The host was super friendly and helpful. Hotel very close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. A shopping centre is within a 5 minutes walk. The room has all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay and was always kept clean and tidy.

  Хозяйка Инга, была отзывчева и добродушна. Встретила в аэропорту и отвезла до отеля бесплатно, также обратно когда улетали. Вошла в положение и оставила нас до вечера, так как рейс вылета был вечерний. Очень ей благодарен!
  В номере все было отлично, чисто и уютно, вся инфраструктура в пешей доступности. Жаль что приехали на один день, в следующий раз когда будем отдыхать в Батуми, забронируем на длительный период!

  Отдыхали в середине октября. Все на высшем уровне. Очень понравилось в данных апартаментах. С Екатериной хозяйкой были всегда на связи. Учла все наши пожелания. Встретила нас, разместила на 42 этаже. Шикарный вид открывался с данной высоты на море и горы. На протяжении нашего прибывания в Батуми помогала в интересующих нас вопросах. Советовала где вкусно и недорого покушать, какие места посетить. Очень уютные, чистые, комфортные для проживания апартаменты. Фото на сайте соответствуют. Спасибо, Екатерина, Вам большое за гостеприимство.

  This place is perfect for you. Usually, i am picky with my accommodation but this place fully satisfied my needs. Clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, convenient bathroom. Great host, they even organized a free transfer from airport for me – very thoughtful service for people arriving for the first time in the country without local sim card or cash.
  Location is just perfect. Breathing view from the balcony (watch the sunset!). Good for walking along the beach or even to the old city.
  
  What could be improved: Well, this is a gigantic buildings (i counted more than 3500 apartments) and expect a huge flow of people. But this particular apartment is at a great location – far from the noise of other guests. With so many people and some construction around it could get a little messy but it doesn't bother you at all.
  As the apartment is exactly at the first beach line there is some noise from the music downstairs during the evening. But hey, this is normal for every beach line; additionally the windows almost eliminate it. This noise will not bother you at all.
  Many appartmements in the same building are offered (they are furnished more ir kess in standard style) but this one for me was really perfect. No reason to look for other option. The quality/price ratio is super.

  The landowner was a lady named Inga. She was extremely kind, sincere. She did her best while we stayed there for pleasing us and even she let us stay 2 hours more after check out, took our baggage with her so we can walk around easily for the rest of day and at the end of day she took us to the airport for free. Highly recommend her room, cleanliness and everything was 10 out of 10. Thank you Inga for all!
